We were driving thru from Minnesota back home to Kansas City. We've stayed in West Des Moines on our way thru several times but... never been at this restaurant before. It was the first one that popped up when I was looking for places for breakfast. Food wasexcellent, warm and delicious and there was a lot of it. Great value especially for the amount. Didn't wait long at all for ourmeal. I believe our waitress's name was Tanisha. She was awesome. Answered all questions, friendly and courteous. Got me a hugesweet tea to go... Not to mention it was great. Also my husband asked for a water to go.... No problem. She's a keeper. If weever get back up here, will definitely stop again. Will add pictures later. Read more
I had a Cob Salad and my husband had the double cheeseburger. One of the few places that even has Cob Salad on the menu anymore... and it was very good! My husband's burger was too much for him to eat so he had to bring some home which nearly never happens!Waiter was very friendly and professional and prices are great!! All in all, I would highly recommend Village Inn to anyonelooking for good food!! Read more

Absolutely stunning, very much like IHOP but 10X better quality food and excellent customer service at a much better price.
Just ate here for breakfast with my boyfriend. We Got the ultimate skillet and the Nashville platter with a coffee. They were... delicious! I enjoyed the fact they both came with three pancakes. Very filling. Spent $25 felt that was kinda pricey. Thewaitress was very nice and quick to refill our drinks and take our empty plates. Read more
