The space is very nice, so we had high hopes for the food, but the food wasn't very good. Also, the service was just... straight-up bad. The place was almost empty - maybe two other tables and a few people at the counter, but our waitress droppedthe food and then we didn't see her again. No refills on water, no warm-up on coffee, no checking at all. We actually had toget up and go to the desk in order to get the check, at which point she re-appeared. We wouldn't go back. Read more

Our first visit to this location, we have always gone to Dots in Wilmington. That location was closed so we ventured over to... Dover. Very cute atmosphere - loved the themed decor! Food was not quite the same as other location - not cooked as well, eggsover cooked, toast partially burnt, asked for water twice and never received. The menu has a great variety - maybe just caughtit on an off day. The original Dots in Wilmington is no doubt a 5 star - hopefully this location will improve as well. Read more

Very cute spot right on VT-100. Fast and courteous service. Loved our waitress, originally from NY. Ordered the mimosa flight,... Cajun skillet, and chili benedict. The chili benedict needs to be on the menu... it is a FANTASTIC balance of flavors, and thecornbread perfectly ties in the sweetness with the saltiness and savories. Sunflower toast was very interesting and good. Cajunskillet wasn't that hot (although I've slowly accustomed myself to heat) and was mostly salty. The mimosa flight was interestingand altogether a great value... there is grapefruit, cranberry, and orange-pineapple, with a decent bit of alcohol in each.Coffee is also SUPER WEAK, and it has been an ongoing complaint that apparently has never been addressed. (I consider myself anintermediary coffee person who looks for hints; the coffee here is like water, and that's NOT an exaggeration.) Great value, definitely worth the stop! Read more

Food is REALLY good but service is REALLY lacking. Both times I?ve been here I?ve over heard a waitress being nasty to customers... making snarky remarks. The staff honestly just seems like they do not want to be working and it shows in the service. It?s sucha shame because the food is great, but the bad service leaves a bad taste. Read more

Good food however both times we have gone only serving breakfast due to lack of staff. While we understand staffing is a huge... issue currently the service was horrible and the waitresses were rude. Read more

Stopped here our first morning in Dover. Read some bad reviews, but decided to give it a try. Very pleasant staff. Both meals... were well prepared and tasty. Glad we didn't let the reviews sway us from giving them a try. My wife is a huge fan of bread, andshe loved their Sunflower bread. Read more

What an enjoyable breakfast...everything homemade...corned beef hash was the best I have had in 50 years. The ham was sliced... fresh and grilled to perfection. Eggs were done perfectly, homemade sunflower toast was incredible. Service by Karen wasoutstanding. And you can bring your well behaved dog for their outdoor seating to boot. I highly reccomend Betsy's (Dot's ofDover) to both residents and visitors alike, for this absolute treat of deliciousness. Check it out, you won't regret thevisit.? Read more
