Really disappointed and embarrassed. I placed my order online, first let me start off by saying the online menu is terrible, it... doesn?t describe what is on any of the pizza. I would think a Nonna would be fairly easy, right? Nope!? when we got home it notonly was thick like the Sicilian pizza, but it was burnt! It wasn?t a nonna! It was a Sicilian with mozzarella cheese blobshere and there. This was my first time getting a Nona from here and I was really disappointed and embarrassed because usuallytheir food is really good so I suggested to my date that we should get pizza from them and it was terrible! I felt so bad andwas very embarrassed! If I wasn?t on a date I would?ve called right away. We didn?t even eat it, it was so hard from beingburnt. Read more
We love the food, however 3x now using DoorDash for delivery & Aurora messed up - last night they forgot to give the driver half... of our order. We called Aurora - which is run by kids - no management onsite when you need a resolution. We were told there wasnothing they could do and if we wanted our other half of our order we needed to come pick it up. THIRD TIME this has happened.We will not spend our time or money here ever again despite how decent the food is. Treating customers unfairly & with attitudeis not how a business should be operating. And to blame door dash for their lack of handing the entire order to the driver -pathetic. Utterly disgusted at how things were handled. Perhaps have an adult working every shift so things run properly andorders get out the door properly instead of laying blame on someone else. Saw the negative reviews but wanted to give this restaurant a chance. Yes, clueless kids running the show is true, not knowing... the menu is true and slow service is true. The meatballs were good, nothing fancy. Side salad was tasty. The cheese gnocchi inblush sauce tasted like mac and cheese. Not impressed at all. Server kept disappearing and had to go up to the counter for mybill when I saw 5 staff members all sitting on their phones. Unfortunately, I can?t recommend this restaurant. Read more
Typically I?m a big fan of Aurora and have great service. Last night (Friday) we arrived at 820pm to have a bite to eat and we... were told ?we?re not longer seating for dinner. Take out only.? I would understand if we showed up 10 minutes prior toclosing but a full 40 minutes before closing seems pretty ridiculous to tell customers they can?t sit down and eat. Plenty ofother pizza places around to grab food while out on a Friday night. Read more

My brother and I were discussing where we should go for lunch on Saturday and he mentioned that he heard Aurora had a really... good Sicilian pizza. With our choice made out the door we went. We arrived around 1:30pm and were immediately seated. Therewere about 4 tables with customers overall and our server, Anthony, showed up and took a drink order as we decided on an app andtoppings. After some back and forth on the app we settled on Homemade Meatballs and on the aforementioned Sicilian Pizza weselected Pepperoni, Mushrooms and Onions. Our meatball app arrived a short time later. This looked as delicious as it was. Themeat was super tender and both of the meatballs were covered in marinara and then each had a fresh slice of mozzarella on top.To the side was a nice portion of ricotta cheese to add to the mix. I cut my meatball into 4 sections and added ricotta witheach bite. Absolutely delicious and I really could have made a meal out of this if it was a actual dish. By the time wefinished out app our drinks we empty as well. We waited a long time to get refills. While waiting, and watching our server whiletrying to politely get his attention, we noticed he only had one other table. He was totally absentee. I'm going to give him thebenefit of the doubt, maybe he was just new and that's why they had him working on a Saturday afternoon but he needs to work onhis awareness. Eventually our pizza arrived and OMG did it look delicious. I took a couple of pictures for the review but manthey don't do this pie justice. This was a wonderful pizza! The dough was perfect which can be tricky with a thick Sicilianstyle pie. The toppings were fresh and well distributed over the entire pizza. My brother and I ate about 5 slices each and tookthe remaining 6 slices home. Fantastic food, I was super happy with the app and entrée. Nice person answering the phone. Nice person at the counter. Huge bubbles covering more than 1/2 of the... pizza...dry...disappointing. When you look at the pictures it looks like there is a topping. No, just huge, dry bubbles. Hopefully this was just an off night. Read more
Feel like Aurora is going down hill. We took a break from eating there for 6 months because I found bits of olives in my iced... tea and the flat bead has zero taste. Went back last night hoping to find things have changed but was once again disappointed. My meat pizza hardly had any meat and it used to be packed. The pepperoni used to be crunchy on the edges but now it's justgreasy. Just no flavor at all. Feels like there are a bunch of young kids running the place into the ground. So sad. Read more
