Special pasta made in or on cheese wheel was very good as was the Caesars salad. Seafood special was plentiful. Ribeye was well... cooked but served with a chunk of fat attached. Great waitress. Outside tables were below par. Read more
Lago is one of the best Italian restaurants in Westchester and the best Italian in the White Plains area (bar none!). You know... you’re in for a good meal as soon as the bread and oil comes out (fantastic), the cold apps are awesome (such fresh prosciuttoand salame), the pasta is cooked just right, the meat is great and the wine top notch????????. Great food! Taking off 1 star for lack of ambiance. - pasta was cooked just right. Amazing sauce. - veal was unique - generous... cheese platter (it’s old school style, and not as trendy), so if you are used to trendy / hip cheese platter maybe skip thisone. - lots of Italian wines to choose from. Went here for an anniversary with my boyfriend. Waiter was not very personable but he was to the point. I really wanted the... pasta made in the cheese wheel but it was not on the menu! We ordered another pasta (paradelle with the sausage) which wasactually very good. Cesear salad was yummy, but portion size was small. Meatball portion was very small (only two medium sizedones) but they were packed with flavor. I had an awesome cosmo, bar service was great. Read more
