The apps and starters are diverse and delicious, but some are better than others and can make it tricky to order the right one.... The entrees are a bit pricey but well portioned and good to share. The cocktails are fine but recommend going with one of thewines. If you're wanting to book a "special" dinner, do it via phone and not Resy since my message didn't go through. Great food … they need more staff… tables left with dirty plates across from us for the entire meal… long wait for... cocktails or for server to return … it appeared they only had one server for each half of the restaurant . Great foods greatvibe but please hire more staff… nothing ruins an otherwise great food & dining experience than being understaffed . Read more

Yet again, A’vert continues to impress. Great service, great atmosphere and great menu…but the food is remarkably... delicious. Kind of a fusion of traditional French with a modern swing. Steak and eggs were just delicious, and the duck confitatop Belgian waffle came with a crown of a fried egg and spicy maple syrup. Just delicious. Like among the best I’ve had. Read more

Avert is a 'come back to' restaurant. Delicious food, good drinks and great service. We had dinner at the bar with Kevin as our... bar tender. The duck, the steak with marrow in it, the sides of asparagus and romaine lettuce, and desserts were phenomenal!Look forward to returning for another fantastic meal and time. Thank you Kevin and team! Read more

Avert is a romantic French inspired restaurant. It was the perfect place to take my girlfriend for her birthday. We started the... meal during happy hour, and ended it by splitting an entree because we were so full! Our server was fantastic and attentive. Thefood was great and the drinks were delicious. I highly recommend it 5/5. ???? Read more

All my Avert pictures from this fall. My boyfriend and I love it here. The half-tray of seafood thing is excellent. Didn't love... the louis sauce on the crab salad, but the dilly salmon salad is great. On the cheese board bijou, roquefort, and ossau iratyare best, with the smoked duck breast, pâte de campagne, and chicken liver mousse for meats. The salami is just ok. Sometimesthey add honey or fig jam, sometimes not. The bread here is great. The French onion soup!!! So comforting and flavorful. Steaks have been good here, but steak-frites isn't my fave combo personally. The cocktails here are amazing and they can makeanything you want, with an extensive stock of niche liqueurs. Their set cocktail menu seems a little sugary and girly sometimesbut they can make anything on it without the extra sugar and syrup. Get a Last Word! They also have Suze and put cherries in itfor me ???? Things I would skip would be the crusted brie thing that comes with hazelnuts, and the escargot, personally theydidn't seem worth the pricetag for flavor. Personally. All the wait staff and Joe the bartender here are great, too. "Sous leciel de Paris" will be playing on loop over the speakers. It's a vibe Read more
