The beef in pho is cooked by the hot broth. Anyone complaining that their beef is raw has obviously never had pho before, or at... the very least have never had it for take out. We haven't actually tried this place before, but we have heard very good thingsfrom our friends. Will come in to dine soon and update then. Read more

We went in and placed an order for takeout. When we got home, we discovered the beef for our pho was raw. We called Pho 135 and... rather than admit that this beef hadn't been cooked, they told us that it was "rare" and that we needed to cook it at home. Lookat the photo and judge for yourself. They said that if we wanted our food cooked, we should have ordered it "ready toeat." Their menu says nothing about the need to request that they cook your food. The waitress who took our order didn't tellus that we'd have to cook our own dinner. Why would anyone pay a restaurant to cook only part of their meal? That would be likegoing to a burger joint and asking for a quarter pounder to go, only to be presented with a bun and a ball of raw beef. If Iwanted to cook my own dinner, I would have gone to the grocery store and purchased the ingredients myself. We were hungry so wewent ahead and cooked the food ourselves. It wasn't good. We won't be back. Read more

Stopped in on our way through town. Experience was very good. I enjoyed the Spring rolls which were actually summer rolls. Rice... paper wrap. Peanut sauce was really different. More hoisen and a little spicy. Egg rolls were Spring rolls. Very good too. Notsure about the naming oddities. Also had fried dumplings. They were tasty with the Thai chili sauce. Pho was very good, but theyneed to put more toppings in the baggies of mint and bean sprouts. Ask for extra. Tea service was by the cup not by the pot.Free refills though.Got a Banh Mi with pork to go. Very good as well.prices were a little elevated, but the value was there.Enjoy! Read more

This is my go to place for Vietnamese food. Is where I usually meet friends for lunch. The food was absolutely wonderful and the... service terrific. I have not had the nerve to try the wall of fame – this is where you eat an enormous bowl of pho in acertain amount of time. I always get the spring rolls. The shake and beef is also another treat. If you want friendly service, fresh ingredients, home made recipes, steaming hot broth and incredible tastes....go to Pho 135. ... I did the 8lb pho challenge here in December....despite tapping out, I was so impressed with the rich taste of the broth, freshness of veggies, and richness of meat. Pho 135 features a savory broth with incredibly chewy tasty noodles. Theirvegetables are always fragrant and crispy. The attention to detail on your order is flawless. I recommend getting a side ofchili oil for your pho. This noodle house is definitely on my short lists of go to spots here in Connecticut Read more

There was no house special pho. You could select up to three ingredients to put in the pho and more will cost extra. The broth... was on the sweeter side. The fish (doesn't look like catfish) was cooked with pineapple and a sweet sauce. The pork chop was onthe dry side. Read more

This is about the pho soup, that I cannot help but crave pretty often. Not bad at this place. Decent broth. Super fresh basil.... Different size bowls to choose from. Different types of meat to choose from. I just wish I liked their meatballs, I did not. Very nice staff, definitely quick service. A very nice dining experience, overall. Read more
