Food was good, about average of local Indian places. The chicken tikka masala was very creamy but a touch too sweet. The shrimp... vindaloo was not spicy at all (I had requested spicy) and I?ve definitely had spicier vindaloo without asking for spicy before.The price is definitely on the higher side at $16-$18 per dish but we knew that before ordering. The food was OK? definitely not worth the drive but it was standard Americanized Indian food. Definitely not traditional and not... spicy so if that?s what you?re after don?t try this place. The food itself though wasn?t bad enough to write a poor review itwas the service. I think the owner was the guy who waited on us and he was completely inappropriate. The husband of the couplewe went out with ordered his food and the guy chuckled to himself and offered no explanation as to what was funny about the guysorder. We all assumed it would just be a lot of food. It came and was a large portion but not a laughable amount. He came aroundand was very pushy about refilling our water glasses several times without offering to refill our other drinks. Then when hewanted to know if he could pack up our food I asked for extra rice to go and he seemed annoyed that I wanted more rice. Kinda ofhuffed as he walked off as if it was such an inconvenience. We placed a phone order for dine in as we were heading there close to closing hour. The food arrived immediately after we... arrived and the staff was friendly who I spoke with over phone. Portion size is really good and taste was OK. They?ll get manycustomers if their food tastes better. The free papad, chutney were below mediocre. I wish they focused on these tiny littlythings as they are in a prime location. Place was good and tidy, Ambience was great, Staff was courtageuos, wait time was less compared to other Indian Restaurants, saw... mostly Americans coming , We?ve order paneer tikka masala , Malai Kofta, Chapathi and Tea. One thing I loved about the restaurant is the food was actually spicy when you generally dont get here, even if you request for... the highest spice level. The food was ordinary like the Dal tadka had chana dal in it ???? so dont go with a lot ofexpectations. The food is ok, what we ordered was Dal tadka, mutter paneer and garlic naan and gulab jamun.
