What a great spot! The inside is very open & modern. You can also choose to sit in the section that opens up large windows so... you feel the outdoors seating ambience. Menu is unique & the drinks too. It's in a plaza that is close to many shopping areasalong with the West Farms mall across from you. Read more

YUM! Tavern on the Square is delicious. Bonus points because my sister is celiac and majority of their menu was gluten free!... Even the mac and cheese and fried chicken! Read more

Solid option for Happy Hour. House Sangria is fantastic and fairly cheap ($7). The Pickle chips are great too if you're into... fried veggies. The bang bang broccoli has more of a kick than you'd expect. Read more

The Corbin?s Corner location of tavern in the square has a lovely atmosphere, lively crowd, delicious food, and an attentive... staff who were more than helpful with whatever we needed. Our server, Meghan, made sure to cater to our needs no matter how bigor small and may have been one of the best waitresses I?ve ever had! The food came out fresh and in a timely manner, and whilethe apps were delectable (fried pickles and nachos) my entree was somehow even better! I figured I would play it safe with theNashville hot chicken sandwich and it might?ve been the best I?ve ever had. I will definitely be returning for happy hour andyou should too! Read more

Gorgeous restaurant with decorative indoor seating and spacious outdoor seating. But food was mediocre at best. Orders were... messed up. An order of nachos with chicken was brought without the chicken. The sesame salmon bowl was supposed to come withroasted broccoli. In reality the broccoli was hard and cold. It tasted like someone took it from a bag of frozen broccoliflorets and quickly blanched it just so the ice thawed but the broccoli itself was still cold. Quinoa bowl also came with coldcauliflower. Overall a lot of mistakes and disappointing food?especially for the price. Service was okay. However, ample parkingavailable and plenty of seating. Overall I would not recommend unless you have no where else to go or don?t care what you getfor food. Read more

It's has an upscale bar vibe with plenty of Indoor/Outdoor seating. In all honesty, I came for the fried Dill Pickles and they... did not disappoint. Our server was genuine and pleasant. And the thing I like is there are good and healthy vegetarian optionswhich is lacking at the upscale restro bars we have in the area. Read more

My boyfriend and I had a nice brunch date at Tavern in the Square! I was impressed at how much seating they had, and both the... indoor and outdoor patio areas were beautiful. We sat outside and were glad to enjoy the weather without being directly in thesun. The executive mimosa and peach bellini were great drinks, but next time we?re totally bringing our friends so we can takedown either a mimosa or margarita tower! Our appetizers of the strawberry melon pineapple kabobs and Belgian pretzels werefantastic. All of the fruit was fresh, and the pretzels were huge! We had plenty to share between the two of us, and the cheesewas sooo good. I enjoyed my French toast, and my boyfriend loved his steak tips and eggs. The steak tips weren?t exactly mediumrare as requested, but at least they weren?t well done. Our only critique was that it took a long time to receive food. Wearrived at 12 and didn?t see our appetizers until 12:30, and didn?t end up leaving until 2. We weren?t in a rush, so we didn?tmind too much and did have multiple courses, including dessert. The cookie skillet was good, but I was expecting it to be bakedinto the skillet - this was more of a pre-baked cookie cup kept warm in the skillet. It?s a more low-key spot away from bustlingBlue Back Square and West Hartford Center which I really liked, and parking is a breeze comparatively! I saw some really greatlunch and dinner options on the menu, so I hope to come back soon and try them out. Read more
