Food was good- however, the seating area is in dire need of an update. Dark, dreary painted ceilings, funky laminate tables... that are not smooth (and therefore, not clean). Doesn't give the impression that the place is clean. It is too bad, as thefood is good and is not expensive. Read more

My first visit to Frankies yesterday. I had recently heard of this awesome place for hot dogs. So I thought it was strictly foot... longs and steak fries. Boy oh boy was I wrong. Loved this place as a teenager and glad it’s still operating. Hot dogs are the best, menu is huge, and they even offer notary... public service now! I ordered two foot longs and onion rings. The quality of food is about what you would expect. Counter peoplewere pleasant and my order was served in a reasonable amount of time. The clientele can be a bit sketchy (the restaurant is notlocated in the best area) but I think that just adds to the atmosphere/experience! Read more
