Was skeptical when reading the reviews, but had a total different experience than reviews. Very pleasant ambience upon entering.... Very neat/ clean. Was seated upon entering, menus brought right away. Food was ordered promptly, and arrived very soon. Ordered:hot & sour soup. Lamb chops. Chicken lollipop . Garlic naan. Food was good as well! My first time there I enjoyed everything I had. The curry jerk chicken rice and peas were delicious.the waiter not so good she... needed more training but overall I would definitely go back. It's always good to try different culture cooking. Read more
I loved the Indo-Chinese food ( we had vegetarian Manchurian & spring rolls), it was absolutely authentic. My husband had haleem... and roti/naan - it was fresh and delicious too. Read more
Honestly it?s halal food so limited by options i came here, it was so bad i don?t know where to start. Staff looked like they... never worked in a restaurant before. Chicken had a smell that made wana toss it across the room. Customer service is apaulinglyhorrible. Word of advise don?t spend your money here. Oh btw don?t ask for the manager there isn?t any . We were the only ones in the restaurant so the wait for the food was not something we thought would be an issue. We ordered a... mixed grill platter, which was not good. The chicken tasted as if the seasoning was put on and not cooked properly. Samosa chaatwas disappointing. The hakka noodles tasted old. There were more eggs than chicken. The sweet and sour chicken had canned lycheeon top?why?! Highly disappointed by the food and service. We had to ask for plates when there were 6 of us and they thoughtproviding us with 4 plates was sufficient. Please don?t waste your money here. Never coming back. Read more
I recently went to Roti Boti, since I was craving good desi food. But it was an absolute disaster. We sat down, waitress came... after 30min to get my order and she was rude about taking it, not giving proper answers when we asked questions. We ended upordering biryani, which tasted stale and old. The chicken was dry, Kebobs smelled weird and tasted a little funky. Naan waseither undercooked or overcooked. We asked to speak to the the owner or chef and neither of them came out to speak to us. I really enjoy going Roti Boti. We used to go to the one in Meriden years ago and our family always enjoyed it. Now that... they?re closer to us in Milford, we go more often. I really like the sesame naan and tandoori chicken, saag & gosht, shamikabob and many other dishes I can?t remember at the moment. I?ve been there many times because our family is huge and theirdining hall can accommodate us nicely when we have functions. I?ve tried their food in several capacities (ordering off themenu, buffet style hosted events, to-go) and while I do wish they had a better selection of drinks, like Coke Zero products, thefood is always good. I?m looking forward to trying their breakfast menu (puri halwa!) but overall my family and I really likeRoti Boti. Read more
