Ok...I was hesitant but this place...so yum ???? Garlic bread fondue, Red stag burger- the cream cheese was an awesome idea... and the most tender NY strip I have ever had. You gotta try it! OK, so it\'s 9:15 on a Saturday and none of us is in the mood for the usual. So we remember passing by here & decide to... investigate. Wow, were we pleasantly surprised! What an excellent experience. The staff, the food, & the atmosphere all add upto a great time. Between the 3 of us, we went with a Chicken Caprese sandwich, Mushroom Cheeseburger, & Sally\'s Steak Burger(shaved Angus w/ melted American, mush, & onions). I had the steak sandwich, & all I can say is my mouth got happier with everybite. Tender doesn\'t start to describe it! All 3 sandwiches were absolutely tasty.\nI also appreciated the selection of beer intap. Went with a Czech pilsner that complemented my meal well. They also serve Scotch with class, having the extra large squarecubes available.\nOverall, it was great value for money. A nice night out after a long week of work was just what I needed.\nAsa side note, please get the acoustic guitar guy to learn some Sabbath. Stopped in for a quick bite on Father\'s Day. Welcoming atmosphere, clean establishent and well stocked bar. The expresso... martini with their house made bailey\'s was very good. The first margarita was sent back due to it tasting horrible. Had thebartender sample it so he would see exactly what my complaint entailed. He agreed and remade the drink. The second one was muchbetter. Stay away from the el paso taters. Not a good taste fries were not all the way cooked through he told me next time orderthem well done...I guess! Never heard that before at this point I believe he was a little annoyed. Usually there is an offer toreplace the app or remove from bill. The only solution offered was get them well done next time. The French onion burger wasvery good the soup was tasty but a tad too salty! The onion rings were great lightly battered and fried perfectly. The food is good. Excellent staff. On this night they had live entertainment. Real down to earth place.
First time and last time going here; went to try them out for the first time cause I love a good burger.The burger was good but... the fries were hard as rocks and they forgot my side that I pad for smfh I ordered takeout, there was a few people at the barbut nobody eating so ytf was my fries burnt and my side missing? Absolutely love this place - My fiancé and I discovered it when we moved to West Haven and it is now our go-to spot.\nThe... people are friendly and kind and we always enjoy chatting with them. The food is incredible - we’ve enjoyed every meal we’vehad there (and at this point we’ve practically eaten our way through the menu). The specials are always yummy and we enjoythat they change regularly. Their drinks are good and they have fun house specialty drinks.\nOverall, it’s our favorite spotand we always enjoy going. I really wanted love this place but, unfortunately, I can\'t. It\'s a huge red flag when things are too salty. The burger and... fries were very salty. POV Salt is a flavor enhancer, not a flavor and should be used sparingly. The staff was really nicethough! Read more
