It has been quite an adventure finding actually decent food here. Lots of misses. I recommend the Chicken Quesadilla.

The website presents it as a somewhat upscale restaurant. It's not. It's a cafeteria with low lighting and nice seats. While... sitting talking with a friend over a meal, the cleaning staff came over and turned up the volume on the enormous tv in thecorner, making it impossible to continue carrying on our conversation. I would have understood if we had stayed close toclosing at 1130pm. They did it at 5pm. Perhaps if you're advertising a restaurant "With soft lighting and a relaxingatmosphere", you might want to clue your staff in on what that means. This restaurant is located inside RIT Hotel and Convention Center. It shares the southeast corner of the property with Charades,... their full service bar and restaurant. Had the Greek salad last night, the Caesar salad tonight, both with chicken. Generousportion for $8 and $7, respectively. Chicken was seasoned lightly, didn't overpower anything. 4.5 Yes, it's just a hotel bar with a short menu but service, drinks, food and environment were all great. With no negatives,... Petals deserves a high rating. The Buffalo and chicken parmesan wings, pork potstickers, patty melt on rye and Guinness fishsandwich were all unexpectedly satisfying and surprisingly good. The drinks had a good pour and the new bartender helped us withsuggestions to make a special cocktail more personal. The "Getaway" switched a white rum instead of the sweet brand; theCosmpolitan replaced vodka for gin; Long Island Ice Tea was fine as listed. This space is nothing spectacular but it's not meantto be. It's low key and just right whether seated at the darkly lit bar or up one level in the brighter table section. Read more
