We always stop here when we're in West Hills. Great dinner/coffee shop. Been around for decades. We shared Chili Fries, Huevos... Rancheros and Gyro (all got devoured). Friendly wait staff and hostess. Definitely want to try for dinner one night as theyserve traditional Greek specialities like Moussaka and Stuffed Grape Leaves. ???????? Read more

I am not sure where these 5 star reviews are coming from. The first smell as you walk in this restaurant is mildew. The inside... of the restaurant is old and falling apart. I overlooked it because of all the hype on the reviews. Boy was I fooled. We satdown and the server quickly took our order. When we got our food I was surprised by the color of the biscuits and gravy. Thegravy clearly came out of a box and tasted awful (bitter). My partner ordered the stuffed French toast and it tasted like theywere deep fried in weeks old oil. The only good thing about our order were the hash browns because the coffee was funny tastingalso. I didn’t even look at the dessert menu because I noticed there was grocery store bought cheesecake, pie and chocolatecake with the label in a fridge as you walk in. Needless to say we won’t be going back. P.s. If the front of the restaurantlooks like it does I can’t imagine how their kitchen looks like. Yikes! Read more

It's a great old style coffee shop, but the other day I tried the last page in the menu where they have their Greek menu and it... was absolutely amazing. I wanted something a little bit lighter and I Sure Fit the spot Read more

Solid, classic diner. Exactly what you want from a diner breakfast, from the ambiance to the exceptional wait staff, to the... delicious food. We haven't ventured off the breakfast menu, but if you want over easy eggs that are actually over easy, andcoffee that never ends, you're going to be happy. Read more

We were across the street pumping gas, wondering where to eat, when I randomly caught a glance of the Nico's sign and looked... them up. I'm SO glad I did. First off: Stephanie our server was an absolute treasure. She could teach a course on how to waittables. She's warm and friendly, but also knowledgeable and communicative ("How are you guys doing?" "Need anything?" "Your foodwill be here in just a minute"). I can't say enough about how great she was. The food was excellent. I had the BLTTA (baconlettuce tomato turkey avocado) and my girl had an omelette. Everything was flavorful, fresh, and made perfectly. Also: the friedzucchini was the best I've ever had; in fact, calling it fried zucchini seems like a disservice-it was somehow full of flavorand crispy but light and fresh. We'll be back in a couple of weeks. Read more

First time going to a restaurant and dining in since covid... Scary stuff but the staff did a great job! Even the ketchup and... got sauce were provided in packets. Coffee was always coming, food was pretty good but didn't think it was fantastic. A freshbiscuit would have been great, it was 830 am ish too. But it's right next to my barber, I'd go again but not out of my way. Read more

Reason for visiting: breakfast Saturday morning Date/time of visit: Saturday morning,~11:00 AM Parking: in the adjacent lot... shared with other businesses Party size: 1 Environment/ambience: old school cafe/diner setup. 2 small TVs over the kitchen.Clean restaurant, 80s style. They bring you the check and you pay upfront, leave the tip on the table. Unisex restrooms wereclean. Employees seem happy. Coffee is served all the time; an employee is walking around looking to refill empty cups. Service:was great. Didn't have to wait long for anything. Food: was good. Had the French toast, with scrambled eggs, sausage links, and aglass of OJ. Cost: not too bad, $20 with tip. But $4.50 for a glass of OJ? ???? Read more
