This place is so yummy! We loved the food. We got the chicken sandwich, burger, and broccoli Mac and cheese. The drinks were... good too! This was a fun spot with the family. Read more

Yes, PLEASE! That is my reaction if anyone suggests Electric Owl to me in the future for happy hour. Electric Owl is down... Sunset Blvd. from where we live, and its patio area and happy hour seemed pretty nice, so we decided to give it a try. Iabsolutely loved everything about it! It was pretty easy to get a reservation around 6pm on a Friday, the happy hour is a goodlength and goes until 7pm during the week. It was already quite crowded both inside and on the patio spaces, and continued toget increasingly crowded while we were there. Nevertheless, we were quickly seated on the outdoor patio in the back of therestaurant, as requested. The service throughout our visit was very quick and friendly, with our cocktail drinks coming veryshortly after ordering them. Those cocktail drinks were delicious and definitely STRONG, by the way! I loved them! The happyhour deals were pretty good and we loved both the wagyu burger and the hot chicken sandwich that are available for the happyhour menu. For the wagyu burger, it simply melts in your mouth and was cooked perfectly. The chicken sandwich was crunchy, crispy, and definitely a bit spicy, with a delicious sauce drenching the very generously-sized piece of chicken in it. Chef'skiss!! The atmosphere was wonderful as well - the patio in the back that we were seated at was very tranquil and beautiful withplant-life shielding the outside world and making you feel very far removed from it all. The inside was also cool, with a uniquebathroom area that had historic photos of the old Los Angeles street cars that used to criss-cross the street here. All around,a stellar happy hour experience. The deals were pretty good and the food and drinks all absolutely delicious. I wouldn't minddining here at a regular time for lunch or dinner either. A definite winner! Read more

Used to love this place, but it has unfortunately changed for the worse. The hot chicken sandwich used to taste way better and... have a choice of heat/spice level. The burger’s portion size, along with many other items, has gone down. Also, you used to beable to add a side of tots for $2, now they’re $8 a la carte. Other favorite menu items have been removed. I understand havingto make changes and increase prices to keep a business afloat, but this is just disappointing ???????? Read more

We really liked this place. It has a cool vibe with great food and even greater customer service. Portion sizes are good. To... those who say portion sizes are small, I say I'm sure there's always a Denny's somewhere nearby if portion size is all thatmatters. If you're not that person, I highly recommend this place. It saddens me to write this review because we've been coming here twice a week for a long time. We come for happy hour and then... usually get take out one night. I want to support local businesses in my neighborhood, but not when they're taking advantage oftheir customers. I know prices are high for everyone, but what you're offering for the price is now ridiculous. I'll go toSuperba or Burger She Wrote from now on (Superba is 21 for a double with fries), BSW way less than both. D-Town down the streetwill give you a whole pizza for $16 and it tastes way better. I still think their happy hour is nice but we're both so annoyedby what they got off charging us recently, we may just find somewhere else from now on. Read more

Train-themed restaurant with cute cocktails and shareable small plates. Came here with three other people as walk-ins around 7pm... on a Saturday after watching a movie and we were able to get a table indoors immediately. Parking is available in the back aswell as in the residential neighborhood. Credit cards accepted. They have nonalcoholic drinks available. Indoor and outdoorpatio dining. Single occupant restrooms are on the righthand side of the bar. They do have happy hour. Service was veryamiable. Food-wise, the portions are on the smaller side, but they are tasty. Note that if you get the spicy shrimp, it’s notspicy and the shell is on, so peel it off before eating. The burger is pretty unadorned and is a typical burger. The mac andcheese had rigatoni pasta with a Panko crust, and I particularly liked that dish. I also liked the beet salad, as it had sometruffle oil and goat cheese. The bacon wrapped dates came in 4 and come stuffed with cheese; solid option for those who want asalty and sweet combo. Read more

Small but considerate menu with good selection of beverages. Portions could be considered on the smaller side but are very... filling. Priced very competitively and worth the money. Read more
