New favorite dinner spot in LA. Where to start. Ambiance and location is amazing. Perfect for a date night. We ordered a bit... of everything. Food was good, a couple dishes were not very impressive. I really enjoyed the beef tartare and grilled octopus. The cheese... board, bread and butter were great. I wish the tomahawk steak was seasoned better, especially considering it's price. My biggestproblem with this place is the service is very slow. We would wait 20-30 minutes every time we ordered something, even just abottle of wine took forever. There were also over 4 different people coming to the table and helping us, so it seemed strangehow long it would take for someone to come back. Read more
Everything sounded great on the menu but it didn't deliver, wouldn't recommend this place. This is a late review, we went for... Valentine's day this year... they forgot to bring my bucatini with bone marrow, waited for the longest time and well, our dinnerwas just blah. Tried the lobster sausage, was a 6/10, duck fat fries 6/10, scallops & truffle were too salty for my taste.drinks were very watered down. Dessert was great, that's why I'm giving a 2 star ???? Everything here was absolutely delicious! Great food, great service, great ambience. 10/10 experience. Everything tasted... perfectly seasoned and flavourful. We got the beef tartar, little gem salad, grilled daurade, bucatini with bone marrow, andsticky toffee pudding. For drink we got the Sun also sets to share, but should have gotten one each because it wasdelicious! Everything is served family style and is great for sharing. The bucatini is probably the most famous dish here, andI think it’s still a good idea to share with 1-2 people because it’s a little one the heavier side. Overall, amazingexperience! Read more
Great customer service. They have an interesting concept of dish sharing. All dishes can be shared between members of the party.... For the birthday restaurant provided with a free desert, which was very good. Read more
I think the best things at Tesse are their cocktails :) Though, their food is good too! And the amazing and friendly... service. Come before it turns too chilly at night so that you can enjoy the patio with a view! Valet is available, $10. Read more
