Food was served like complete slop on a platter. The very watery chicken was put on a tortilla so by the time we got home the... food was very soggy. Definitely not worth almost 40.00 for 2 people. One other thing was the service could have been a tad moreprofessional, the older ladies that speak Spanish seem to think that no one can understand what they are saying, I Definitelydid. I won?t lie, this location went through a rough patch where we stopped coming here and started going to the South Jordan... location, even though it is much further away. However, over the past six months they have made huge improvements! The food isexcellent (It always was), the service is quick, and the staff has been friendly and responsive. Food tasted fine, HOWEVER... I ordered curbside to go. My order was 1 item (nachos). I arrived at the store at the time my order... was scheduled for (9pm), pulled into the designated parking spot, and pressed the "I'm here" button on the app. No one everbrought my food out. I waited for 15 minutes and no one brought me my food (they were not busy). After 15 minutes I went insideand my order was ready and had just been sitting on the counter the whole time. No one apologized or even gave an explanationfor why my food was never brought out to me. Because it had been sitting there, my food was cold. Read more

Wanted to get grilled chicken and lettuce and was forced to pay for entire dish i.e salad. Other restaurants customize the order... and pay only for the food you ordered. Paid $13 for the pile of lettuce which is not even cut well. Grilled Chicken was dry.Save your time and money and go to other stores. Read more

Really, Cafe Rio? Really? One tiny teaspoon of meat on each taco I ordered? I paid $12 for a pound of lettuce on top of one... teaspoon of meat. (I removed the lettuce for clarity in the photos before putting it back on for consumption.) After two bitesthe meat was gone and I was stuck with a romaine quesadilla. Twice. Both tacos. Food was Okay, 1st the manager was being really rude to the lady taking my order all she did was ask for more habanero sauce. I... got 2 burritos and 1 was veggie non enchilada style, I got charged for 2 enchilada style burritos when I only got 1. Then I gotcharged for a side of guac when all veggie items come with a side of guac at no charge. Every time we order online our order is wrong or there is some sort of technical difficulties. Today I ordered a grilled chicken... salad, black beans, rice and house dressing. I got a burnt tortilla with no beans and steak with barely any lettuce. And hair inmy food. I?m sooo tired of having to contact customer service because something was wrong. I have been to this Cafe Rio many times and I haven?t had any problems until now. Tonight I found a chicken bone in my burrito... with shredded chicken. I know that they are short staffed but this dangerous and I can?t not just let it go.
