We typically love Hot Dog on a Stick, so much so that we went out of our way from SLC to West Jordan today to go here. We asked... for a minute to look at the menu, we got a somewhat jumbled response, thought it odd, but brushed it off. We ordered and thengot a very jumbled response, I don?t even know how to explain it or what to call it, followed by laughing. It was clearly onpurpose. It was the most inappropriately, rude thing I?ve ever experienced at any place of business. They were making fun of us,for what, I don?t know. I don?t know if it was because we took longer to order, I?m at a loss. It was appalling. I will nevergo back to a place that treats their customers like this, ever. I love their lite lemonade. Hands down, it's the best low calorie drink I have ever had. Really great corn dogs, as well.
I wish I'd listened to the reviews of people who said this isn't like other locations. I went on a not busy day. The wait wasn't... bad. The corn dog wasn't even that bad. It was the funnel cake fries that were gross. They were basically in a clump, likethey'd been dropped in the fryer and no one bothered to actually shake them to separate them after. They hadn't been dried offafter either, so the powdered sugar was kind of caked on and not appetizing at all. I'd recommend going to a different locationif you're hankering for Hot Dog On a Stick. I have been coming here since you folks opened. Today was the worst meal that I have ever had there. Hot dog and fries luke warm... at best and they both had the same taste. Time to change the fryer oil. At least my lemonade was good as usual. Read more
The breading on the corn dog was light and fluffy! The fries were also cooked well. The original lemonade was spectacular. Good... luck trying to sell your own lemonade when you got this competition. I wish for more sauces and would be interested in theirtake on fry sauce. I will be back to try the other lemonade flavors and those cake sticks. Read more
Went by today and ordered 2 Originals. The person taking the order confirmed with me that I wanted the turkey corn dogs. I said... yes. When I got home they were beef. I went back and they remade the corn dogs. I took a bite of one before leaving to confirm.When I got home the corn dog batter was running out of the one I took a bite of. So it wasnt cooked all the way. I email theemail address on the receipt explaining the same thing and the email came back as undeliverable. I tried calling and the numberwas disconnected.
