After buying a 52 oz fountain drink (new not a refill) that states it's price a $1.79 (before tax) and getting charged $2.46 I... will no longer visit this store either your sales tax is exuberant or more likely I keep getting up charged the higher refillprice (65 ounces and up) which I know to be the case as I buy a lot of fountain drinks if I wasn't so broke I'd press chargesagainst this corporation Read more

I'll start my review by stating that I visit this Maverik multiple times a day because I literally live next door. Between... beverages, cigarettes, snacks, and gas, I easily spend over 1000 monthly there. Unfortunately, today I visited the store ataround 515 AM to find the registered unattended. I called hello several times, but the woman on the other side of the store (Ithink she was changing coffee pots) failed to respond. I crossed the store and spoke directly to her (I thought perhaps shehadn't heard me because she was wearing earphones... NOPE, she was just flat out ignoring a customer), and she mumbled thatsomeone was on the back washing dishes. She disappeared into the back of the store, and neither she nor the mystery dishwasherappeared for a solid 5 minutes, without explanation. I finally just used self checkout (would have done so originally, but Ineeded cigarettes) and left, never seeing either of these individuals again. I subsequently called and asked for the managersname. Anton (presumably the person washing dishes and ignoring customers) have me the managers name. I then asked for hiscoworkers name (you know, the one that just ignored me when I called Hello a multiple times because the registers wereunattended). He gave me her name (Sally, he said), and then came the best part: he rudely told me to go ahead and complain, andthen be actually told me to never come to the store again!! I've complained about Anton in the past for similar behavior, yetclearly this location just doesn't care about customer service. I'll gladly go elsewhere, as there are 4 other Maveriks, 47-11s, a Chevron and two Holidays within about a mile of this store. However, I'll also gladly do what I'm doing here and letpeople know that some of the staff at this location are objectively awful, and that furthermore the management doesn't seem tocare. Never a good look when you don't get a receipt and are making sure you got the right change and the attendant tells you what are... you even talking about. Great place to stop and get gas if you are visiting Jordan Landing or in that area. Gas prices are always comparable (and... usually slightly lower) than other gas stations in the surrounding area. This Maverik is always clean and well maintained. Thestaff are friendly and helpful. Read more

I would give 5 stars, but there are a few consistent issues that never seem to get addressed. 1) The fountain machine, the... Coca~Cola on the right side always has too much syrup and not enough carbonation. It also sounds weird coming out of the spout,makes a strange vibration. 2) The fountain machine, the Coca~Cola is out quite often on the right side. 3) The staff from thefront end needs to go back and make more coffee in the morning when there are a lot of customers in the store. I am not sure whythe frontend staff needs to be the ones making coffee, the employees in the restaurant area should be taking care of this foodtask. Read more

I just moved here to West Jordan so I started going to this Maverik! I'm always in and out within less than 15 minutes and... there's a specific employee, unfortunately don't know his name, that took time to greet me when I walked in the door even thoughhe had several customers already in line! As someone who works in customer service, I definitely understand frustrations andbeing overwhelmed sometimes so seeing an employee who makes customers genuinely smile and laugh is a great thing to see! two days in a row now you guys worker's have all been standing around and no coffee all the freaking coffee is gone! its... ridiculous why?
