This place doesnt look like a good Mediterranean place. Looks kinda like a soda shop from the outside. Inside, you really... couldn't guess what kind of food they serve. Either way, I think it's pretty sweet inside. The atmosphere is fun and evenbetter, the food is AMAZING. I've had Spitz many times and it never disappoints. Zesty Feta Wrap is the BOMB. The fries arereally good. Sweet potato fries are even better. Even their water with lemon in it is fantastic. Hands down my go to restaurantin the neighborhood. 10/10. You need to come here. Came here for dinner on a Friday night. It was pretty busy. I think they may be understaffed, there was only one employee taking... orders AND running food. Waited in line about 10 minutes to order even though there were only two small groups ahead ofus. However, after ordering it only took 10 minutes to get our food. I ordered the Medi Bowl and my husband got the street gyrowrap. Both were delicious. Portion sizes were great. I love that the (free) water was infused with lemon and mint. First time here and I was pleasantly surprised. We love get gyros and tried their Street Greek Gyro Combo, one with fries and... one with sweet potato waffle fries. I think it was the Berliner sauce that added a little kick of spice and flavor, and it wasgreat. The fries and waffle sweet potato fries were amazing. Good tasty food, fun atmosphere, fun location. Like others have said, it doesn’t look like a Mediterranean joint from the... outside, kind a looks like a soda shop or something fun with all the records and things behind the bar. However, it was verytasty and the staff is friendly. We did come close to closing and she was busy but she was nice and the interaction we had withher. First time here, came against the non-negotiable invitation of my wife… And I thank her graciously for pushing past my... stubbornness! Talk about eat your words- ate’em, and would pay for it again at the rate of a regular return craving theflavors customer and leave a tip before you get your food good eats. So what makes it so good?- in my mind’s mouth I wasconfused at the name of the place, the look the vibe(you get it). In my body’s mouth the confusion became clearly wrong and Iwas forced to take a breath in between forkfuls of sweet potato street fries of flavors that I couldn’t completely identifyuntil I had that next bite. Sequence: fork-mouth-hmm? Repeat until the ? is a flavor you recognize or identify. Pretty funprocess and experience with a beer glass[(in a non-waited table restaurant (confusion again)]of ice cold Coke.
