The service was amazing. Very nice, quaint atmosphere. Our food was hot and tasted great. Nice to have this new option on the... West side. The only thing that would make it better, would be to stay open for dinner! Read more

I really wanted to enjoy this place and gave it the benefit of the doubt for awhile during our visit. We were greeted and seated... and brought water. So far so good. The building would benefit from coat hooks because half our table was taken up by that andthe umbrella - not sure what we would have done if there was a person per seat. We ordered drinks, one came out after about 5minutes, and the other about 5-10 after that. The drinks were delivered and our order was not taken, and no quick mention of"I'll be right back." I don't blame our server because they were overworked and appeared to be the most experienced server whilethe other three individuals were visibly confused and likely new to the job (I was a server then manager for 10 years). Onceour order was taken our server was not able to be attentive because they had so many things to do. Hygiene wise I am absolutelyokay with people wearing yoga pants to work, but it is off putting when they continually have to adjust their pants then touchfood and items that go to customer tables. Some more training in this regard could be useful. Price does not match quality orquantity unfortunately. Substitutions were made or items left out without mention during ordering or after serving (no paprika/green onions on the eggs Benedict, Bleu cheese/celery missing from bloody mary, prosciutto sandwich was cold). This wouldn't besuch a big issue if it wasn't priced the way it was. One more experienced server and maybe more training would help. It took usan hour to get our food, had one round of drinks with no offer for more. Environment-wise one individual kept yelling overcustomers to talk to to other servers when they were less than 10 feet away. We may give it another try after they have hadmore time to figure it out. Delicious food I remember from eating 10 years ago @ Le Peeps while traveling. So glad there is one in my town. The manager was... so gracious with the lack of serving staff to keep the customers taken care of, eventually calling another waitress in tohelp.the food was fresh. The store was clean, tables clean, everything clean. Read more

We understand this is a new business and that each takes time to smooth out the edges, but this experience was unacceptable,... especially for $15 a plate. We enter the business, it?s steadily dying down from a morning rush. We only waited about 10 minutesto be seated, no worries there. After being seated, it takes quite a while to get a server. We ordered two coffees and achocolate milk for our toddler. There were only 3 of us. We receive that, and she leaves our toddlers milk at the counter andproceeds to care for other tables. The milk sits there about 6 minutes and my husband finally walks up and asks someone for themilk. The server never addressed that we had to get it ourselves when she finally returned to take our order. Following the verybasic order of French toast, pancakes, and a quiche, we wait 50 minutes and watch as 9 other people, including a party of five,are served. We continue to wait and no one comes to the table. No coffee refills, water, nothing. We finally ask a host for amanager, a manager in training asks what the concern is. Our toddler at this point has still not eaten breakfast, it?s 11:08, wearrived at 10:10, so I had to go to the car and retrieve a snack for her AT A RESTAURANT. The manager never apologized,addresses how three tables were served and more coming, and where our ticket or order has gone. A woman behind the stove says?that?s not possible? basically calling us a liar, and the manager goes on to serve tables, and no one comes back. We leave somemoney on the table, and after wasting almost an hour and a half, leave to find another place for the two of us to eat with ourlittle one. The biggest issue is how the complaint was handled overall. We will not be back. Another Broken Egg will remain thebest place to go for breakfast. Read more
