We found this place when we were students in the 1980's and stop here for a meal every time we are in the area. We haven't found... a gyro as good as these anywhere else. Read more

Clean, slow service, average food We came here based on a recommendation, but weren?t super impressed. The falafel was very... dry, the hummus didn?t have much flavor, and the Gyro was average. The service seemed to take a long time given what they werebringing out. Our order was brought out in separate pieces spanning a 10-15 minute window. I would come back if someone asked meto go there, but I won?t be recommending it. Read more

I used to eat at the Parthenon years ago. Very pleased to find that it is still going and just a good as ever! I had a gyros... sandwich and fries. The gyros was great, pita and meat were just right. I gave a few of my fries to my sister, who said theywere the best fries she ever had. She had a Greek salad. She said that everything was very fresh and tasty. My brother-in-lawhad a gyros sandwich, which he really liked. This place is more authentic Greek than American, run by a Greek family. If youlike Greek food, you will not be disappointed. Read more

After visiting the WL location for the first time, I could not help myself but to go for a second day in a row! It was great... both times and I am glad to have tried the Greek fries. Hopefully next time I will get to dine in and enjoy the lovely indoordecor or the available outdoor seating. Thank you!!! Read more

We had a great time at the restaurant. To our surprise, it was comparatively not so busy during the weekend. So, if you're... looking for a quiet place to hang out with your friends/family, I would totally recommend it. I had a vegetarian sandwich and itdefinitely came with a lot of pepperoncini peppers, which I removed manually. For 7.99 it was a nice sandwich. I found thesandwich a little dry for my Indian taste buds. But, for the price, it's totally filling. It's a nice privately ownedrestaurant, conveniently located next to other stores. Give it a try if you're looking for something Greek. Read more

There aren't many choices in Greek restaurants in the Lafayette area, but Parthenon is a decent one. It's a very nice, large,... clean place and the food is on par with what you'd get at many larger and chain places. The gyros are solid. They're not aspumped full of flavor as you'd get at a hole-in-the-wall shave-that-meat-right-in-front-of-you authentic Greek restaurant, butthey are hearty and fresh. I wasn't a fan of the Grilled Pork Kebab. The meat was sort of tough and not very flavorful. TheParthenon Burger here is surprisingly good. The meat has a lot of spices like gyro meat. I recommend avoiding the chickentenders here. I had them once and they are the chicken-nugget mush stuff and overcooked. This is one of the few places thatlists their drink prices upfront. More restaurants need this kind of transparency. Read more

Nice, cozy, family type place. They say they serve American grill, but I would say it's very Greek and delicious. Organic and... healthy food. I ordered Gyros with beaf ($7.79) and Greek potatoes ($2.24) in affordable prices. Honestly, I felt full once Ifinished. Added a picture of the receipt too, so you can get idea about prices. Would definitely come back again. (: Read more

Ordered dinner online on a Saturday. Ordering was quick but they wouldn't take payment over the phone. Used their drive through... for pickup. The food was ok, but nothing really stood out. We ordered the Gyro sandwich with greek fries, feta plate, falafelsandwich with green bean side. Verdict: Maybe - if you're really craving greek food. Read more
