We held my fathers 70th birthday here and it was a wonderful experience. The owner was very responsive on emails and helpful... with organizing. The food was beyond amazing. All of their deserts are made in-house and their peach cobbler is made by soakingthe peaches 24 hours in advanced. Many of my guest said it was the best desert they have ever had! Highly recommend for dinnerand events! It?s a beautiful location and they had games for kids to play. Was really just a wonderful experience! Read more
We stayed for a weekend getaway. We stayed in the Norway-themed room, which was beautiful. The owners are very welcoming and... hospitable. We also had dinner there, which was delicious, so I highly recommend having dinner at the restaurant. Breakfast wasgreat as well. We hope to stay again some time! Read more
This is ?Luxury in Lafayette? We found this inn spur of the moment. Traveling in Indiana, stopped in Lafayette wanting to stay... but tired of ?hotel hustle? life. Found the Whittaker and was exactly what we were looking for! Quiet, Relaxing,modern likehome experience! The rooms are beautiful and themed with modern amenities with warm unique custom touches of art, linens anddetail. Rooms are large with tall ceilings on 2nd floor, air conditioned and fans are very nice for the summer and work well!The night time kitchen was perfect too and love that it has both 1st and 2nd floor locations! The common areas has plenty to dofrom games,pool tables, peaceful patio with the quiet nature surrounding the properties. Small walking path was great to strollthrough after a custom ordered breakfast made by Chef Andrew that had all fresh ingredients with homemade jams! Everything fromthe coffee,omelettes down to the mixed berries was perfect. Elizabeth was attentive and just enough exposure. We never felt thatshe was over the top in our space, which is always a worry when you stay at a smaller scale inn. Easy check in and easy checkout. She made us feel like it was our home away from home. We are thrilled to share with our family and friends and hope tostay again soon!! Read more

Everything about our stay was wonderful. From the calming drive up the winding drive to the sweet smile reception we got from... Elizabeth when we came in, all the details have been thought out perfectly. We stayed in the France King Room and it wasbeautiful. I love the little extra touches like titbits about France on the nightstand. The Night Kitchen was a fun option oncewe came back from dinner for a little extra something before bed. The bedding was great. Everything was clean and comfortable.We are local and sometimes it feels weird to stay away only a few minutes away from your house, but I would do this again in aheartbeat. My husband and I said next time we'd just make reservations in the dining room and stay on property the whole time.We highly recommend and will be back again for sure. Read more
Came here on a Sat evening to photograph a wedding of a friend. Didn't stay, didn't eat, didn't even see much of the place. But... what impressed me was that I didn't even know it was here and it was beautiful. The decor, the grounds, the amenities were allbeautiful. This is clearly run by people with pride and who want to put their best foot forward. If I have occasion, I'd love tocome back and spend more time. Beautiful place. Read more
