This was the first time we were trying this restaurant, and the food was quite good. Someone gave us the wrong bag for takeout,... and we did not discover until we got home - 20+ miles away. They wanted us to bring the bag back and get the correct one, but itwas not worth the 40+ miles just to correct a mistake. They made a note of the error, and said we would have a credit with them.When we ordered again, they proceeded to take the amount of the wrong order that they had given us out of the credit, and onlygave us about half the credit we were due, as opposed to comping us a free meal since they mess this one up. Best part of the meal was the bottle of soda. Rice was luke warm at best. Absolutely flavorless food. Store bought wontons and... cheap chicken broth. Instead of you and your S/O making the trip and spending 40 bucks, do yourself a favor and take that 40dollars and light it on fire. Read more
I've been a long time customer of Men at Wok. The last few times I've ordered from here the food has been very bad. I go back... hoping it's just a fluke. This last time, the rice tasted like chemicals, like it has been sitting out for a very long time, itwas AWFUL. The chicken was cold and tasted of chemicals. Its hard to describe the taste but it is just something very fowl. Idid send them a message privately and got no response. I'm actually concerned about the health of the public eating this food,something is very wrong. Read more
The food comes out hot and fresh, so you know it'll be perfect when you get home. Their pork buns are to die for. Full of flavor... and very soft. The fried rice is also great. Sadly though, their Dumplings are terrible. Next to no flavor, and the dumplingskin is way too thick. Those could definitely use some improvement. Do not reccomend-Worse food I have ever had. Beef terriakyi was not cooked, crab Rangoon was way to sweet, chicken wings had no... flavor and very dry. Fried shrimp tasted bad. Not impressed at all. Dirty plates with food sitting on empty table and on top oftrash can, yet nobody in the restaurant. Over $100.00 on food and tasted horrible. Read more
My go to Chinese restaurant stopped offering egg foo young a long time ago and I was really craving it so I decided to try Men... at Walk. The egg foo young was very good and the gravy, although a smidge too salty for my tastes, was rich and flavorful. Youget 3 large egg foo young per order. One is more than enough for most people with rice and a few crab rangoons. My order costabout 25 USD, which I thought was high until I sawit could easily feed 3 or 4 people. I'd come back again and next time try toask about specialties. From the photos on the wall near the register it seems like they may specialize in buns and dim sum. Read more
Ordered in restaurant for take-out. Wait time was said to be about 20 minutes, was back in the car before 19 minutes. While I... was waiting (I'm guessing) the owner's young son came out and talked with me. Great little dude and great conversationalist. It was a great way to spend my wait time.
