Excellent experience. Our waiter was pleasant, courteous and attentive. The food was awesome!! My husband and I got the admirals... platter. So much food you could have fed the whole family. We will definitely go again when feeling like a seafood dinner.Drinks were a reasonable price as well. Definitely recommend. Read more

We had a great dinner with my children and parents. Food and service are always great. My young children were enjoying... themselves with our family and the staff and were a little noisy. The table next to me complained and wanted their meal comped.I was very impressed with how management handled the situation and had my back as fellow parents. If I could give 0 stars I would! Worst customer service possible waitress was not attentive and rolled her eyes as if we were a... bother to her. There has never been a time where I refused to leave a tip but I refused yesterday ! When we arrived oursilverware was dirty absolutely disgusting! Our waitress could not be bothered so we had to ask another waitress to bring usclean silverware! when I told our waitress the seafood chowder did not taste right the fish had a jelly coating assuming it hadpassed it?s time she sighed and said she would get her manager ! I explained to the manager the food was terrible and would likeboth items removed from my bill, My salad was great other then 4 massive hearts from the lettuce ends in my bowl. The secondwaitress was a sweetheart and did help us without a complaint. If I could have tipped her I would have probably only thingkeeping the business because it?s clearly not the food. My partners fries were soggy and fish was so cooked that you couldbarely break it. The waitress never offered to refill our drinks or ask if the meal was okay I had to ask a second waitress tohelp us. On top of that she handed the check to us and never offered us a box for a new soup, replacement nothing was done !This is clearly how they are use to treating their customers! The manager came to the table I told her the issue she said ok andleft never to be seen again not even an apology! Train your people clearly they lack it ! It?s safe to say I?ll never go backand on top of that I am very sick tonight possibly food poisoning off the dirty silverware and soup that I thought would begood. I had the clam chowder and potato skins. Clam Chowder was 100% from a can for $9.50. Potato skins were house made, but bland... and burnt. The service was pleasant and prompt. The place is clean and roomy, but the food is poor. And at real seafoodprices, the food should be of better quality. No lobster bisque on the menu, even though the logo is a lobster. In fact,besides the one or 2 lobster dishes, everything else is deep fried something else. Which leads me to believe everything isfrozen. It?s a diner with clam chowder on the menu. Weathervane did not disappoint! The restaurant was busy for mid afternoon and like everywhere, short staffed, but the wait was... short and our server was on top of everything. The whole belly clams were some of the best we've ever had and the complimentarycup of fish chowder was full of flavor and fish!
