What a hidden gem in small town Iowa. I frequent Thai, Korean, Vietnamese, & Szechuan restaurants so this was a great find!... Everything we ate was very flavorful and fresh tasting, well portioned and affordable. Most dishes are offered with a choice ofprotein including tofu. Unique twists on familiar dishes. The menu has a variety of Asian foods that should satisfy most people. We will be back often! Support local businesses! Read more

We waited for a little since she's the only cook at moment but I'm telling it is worth to wait. When you come in don't forget totry the Chicken eggrolls. YUMMY! Read more

This place is amazing. I would never have imagined finding such authentic uncompromised Southeast Asian flavor tugged along... highway 6 in Iowa. This is by far the best Thai place in the Iowa City area (they serve a bit Laotian flavor and Pho too). Ifirst knew about it from the Little Village magazine (still called Lao Cafe at the time) and have been back many many times. Itried almost everything on the menu and they are just all so delicious. If this place is located in a big city it will be packedout every night. Read more
