Unbelievable positive experience. Sim is professional and has an extremely positive attitude. She goes above and beyond every... time. I rarely take the time to leave reviews except on the rare occasion that I experience exceptional service and this sohappens to be one of them. This was my first experience with Chipotle. I have to say I didn't get the whole vibe that social media has put on it. It's a... step above Moe's as far as food choices, but for the price I would like a little more service. I even mentioned that this was myfirst time to the server and basically got ignored when I asked for suggestions. I am a pretty big fan of Chipotle and have enjoyed over 100 meals from the establishment on 192 over the years thanks greatly in... part to a colleague who always choose we eat there. The main reasons he and eventually we regularly chose to eat there was thefood was consistently good, the kitchen and staff polite, well organized, and focused on delivering the meal as requested. Inall those meals I never once felt they missed the mark and amazingly there were no mistakes. As a person who has owned arestaurant and worked as a chef I know that is extremely unlikely over a stretch of years where turnover was definitely takingplace internally, but they management was able to keep it together. Now since covid times we have a new location here in WestMelbourne. I have eaten here on several occasions. Various times of day and various orders. I have monitored what's come in myfamily's orders closely and decided it had to stop. I leave honest reviews for the restaurants and food shops I attend for twomain purposes: help customers find where great culinary delights are coming to life, and to give owners/managers honest insightsand praise. Over the months of monitoring I have seen scores of reviews from other customers come pouring in. The message hereis clear, people want this location to succeed, but amazingly the owner is not taking any visible steps towards acknowledgingthe need for improvements and change. This is a case when the owner is not getting near the return on investment they could be. There needs to be an intervention to reset the management and staff to discard the bad actors and bring in great ones. Defineand train to the Chipotle standards and get onboard with a real mission statement. Reward good work and those who are honeststandards upholding servants to your customers. Saturday afternoon around 1 and it was pretty busy but moving fast. I ordered 2 bowls with the new pollo asada chicken. I liked... it quite a bit. Had a nice flavor and you could certainly pick up the cilantro and lime. It was a little spicy for me but I donot tolerate spicy very well so probably fine for most everyone else. My husband said it wasn't spicy at all and added somejalapenos for a little heat. Disappointed in our large side of chips and guacamole. You can see there were barely any chips inthere and they were very stale. I'd already scooped some guacamole out when I took the picture but there were several areasthat were black and unappetizing. Made an online order for 7:40 (at 7:00), we get there right at 7:40, was told they?re closing at 8 for NYE (online says... 10pm)?fast forward, go inside to pick up our order and am told they don?t have my order. Ended up getting the scraps left at theend of the night, they had no chicken and was told by I assume the manager to ?just put steak on it? for those who had onlineorders for chicken. Kind of messed up for those who don?t eat cow due to their religious reason, you never know. Any ways, theyring us up and I let them know I already paid for an order online, the girl tells me it?s on the house and they comped it ontheir end, however I still ended up paying for food I did not get. I tried to call and speak with a manager and the phone justkept on ringing. I will be calling tomorrow to speak with a manager about this. UPDATE: I?ve just tried this location again, twice this week actually, and both times the portions have been substantially more.... My second picture is of the most recent visit. They?re really cheap with their portions. The other location actually fills thebowl. Thought it might be a fluke the first and second time ordering from here but they are consistently underwhelming by thethird and fourth time I?ve ordered.
