Ordered from Hooters in West Melbourne Florida on 8/19/22. Picked up my order at appox. 4:25pm I ordered a special that was... $13.49 which included 6 boneless wings, 6 breaded shrimp. Both had Buffalo Hot Honey sauce. I would rate the boneless wings at4 stars. The Shrimp 3.5 stars and the fries 0 stars. The entire batch of fries were absolutely inedible. Assuming those frieswere probably from lunch. However if I'm paying $13.49 for a plate. Everything should be fresh to order. No matter what you doto old fries, you can never make them fresh again. No idea why restaurants still try to get away with this? Overall score 2.5stars. I had to give 3 on the review since there isn't a way to give 1/2 stars on Google. Read more
It's Hooters! What's not to like? Only the somewhat inconsistent quality coming out of this particular kitchen. Most times... it's very good, hot, fresh, etc....but on occasion they really miss the mark. That said, the peel and eat shrimp this week wasso good, we ordered another pound...nice job! My new favorite dish there. Service has been consistently friendly andattentive, while takeout has been consistently bad (over/under cooked, wrong items, thrown together...not at all appealing). Overall 3 stars is fair....better kitchen would bump that up. Read more
I should have known better than to order seafood at a place known for chicken wings, but I had just eaten chicken the evening... before, so I came in to this Hooters to celebrate my birthday with some fish and chips. Unfortunately, the batter used by thefry cook reacted with the skin of the white fish (by virtue of being over cooked) and the results were most disappointing. Morethan half of the meal was a fibrous, chewy coating on some otherwise satisfactory fish. The picture shows the part of my mealthat was inedible. I mentioned the issue to my server, and she first offered to have another plate of fish and chips prepared togo. (No, thank you!) Instead, she adjusted my total for my birthday, and I tipped her well, since it wasn?t her fault that thecook was unable to create an edible plate of fish and chips. Been coming here for a while and it gets better every time it seems! Tried the roasted wings with lemon pepper and was super... happy. They aren't greasy and are still really crispy! This evening here started out bad. We came here specifically to watch the fight and we normally go to Buffalo wild wings but I... wanted different food and atmosphere so we came to Hooters prepared to spend money and watch the fight. While we were pullinginto the parking lot we called Hooters and asked if there was a wait and she said no not yet but it could change. I asked for 2and she said no for two we can get you in and we informed the mystery girl we were pulling in and parking and would be inside.We get inside and it's packed. The people in front of us got really angry because they had been waiting for a while and theservers kept talking about the tables for the fight and they just wanted to eat and leave. They asked the wait and one servorsaid 25 mins the manager was called upfront.. They left and walked out. When it was our turn we expected no wait since we justhung up with one of the girls but she said there was a wait and she didn't know how long. Then the manager said it could be 45minutes and then another one said it's fight night so the wait would be until the end of the fight. (Isn't that when hooterscloses?) I was ready to walk out and the manager then said he could get us in no wait. Our waitress was Ledger she was verysweet and friendly and a great server in a very busy environment and fast pace we still felt she was attentive. The food wasgreat and hot and fresh we got sliders, Daytona wings the Mac and cheese and Cole slaw were amazing and the smothered chickensandwich. I got every type of dessert shot and let me tell you every one of them was great. Chips and queso were amazing and thefood is better here than Buffalo wild wings. A huge con is the bathrooms are disgusting and not cleaned at all. We both had touse the bathroom so I went to the ladies and him to the men's.
