I cannot be happier with this place! Super friendly staff, small intimate seating, AMAZING food, great menu selection, perfect... serving sizes. The best miso soup I've ever had! Seriously. Another place where the food lives up to their name! ? but the servers? Wife and I went for her birthday dinner Monday night... 7-11 and were seated immediately. We got their right at 5pm when they open and are so glad we did because within 5-15 minutes ofordering our appetizers they got to the table in a slightly staggered fashion. I got the umami mushrooms (which came out within5 minutes) and she got the tuna tatake (which has a beautiful tuna rose made on the plate! And came out within 15 minutes). Weended with 3 specialty rolls: the rainbow, the heisenberg, and the boba fett. All of it tasted like the fish had been caughtduring lunch it was That Fresh tasting! If you don?t like raw the boba fett comes with a delicious baked scallop and shreddedcrab topping. The heisenberg was a flavorful mouthful and not too sweet despite having mango salsa on it! Overall amazingfood! Our one complaint was the server, Renee, who in her attempt to be very attentive was slightly unnerving because while wewere there she leaned against the wall in the dining room by the sushi bar, staring at her tables, which made us uncomfortablesince we were trying to have a romantic dinner. Best sushi in Brevard! Always incredible! Been here about 4 times, and I am impressed each time. This time, we tried their... desserts, and they were so good. Green tea cheesecake was one the yummiest cheesecakes I have had in a while. Also, we had afew sushi and sashimi dishes, pork gyoza, ceviche, carpaccio, a roll, and the dessert items. Whenever I come to Melbourne, I make it a point to eat at Umami. They have a wide variety of fresh sushi with a specials board... near the sushi bar. The day I was there, they had uni and 2 types of blue fin tuna. I love the double spicy tuna and Vegetarolls. The menu is amazing, the service fast, and the food is delicious! ???????????????? Yep it was good. Got the hot sake which came with a generous amount (more than I cared to have even). Had the Heisenberg roll... which was massive and very tasty along with an order of the pan fried Gyozo which wasn?t the best I?d ever had but wasn?t bad.Planned on getting more food but was quite full after that- portion sizes were pretty generous.
