Delighted to have found this place right around corner from my hotel. Went up to the window, looked at menu, decided on a beef... sandwich basket. Owner looked at me funny and joked ?Nah, you don?t want beef. Where you from? Not around here?. So Icheerfully changed to the pulled pork sandwich and I heard ?dats right?. Big sandwich, delicious! I will never eat there again! I try to give chances, but I gave them one too many. First of all, it seems like certain meals are... not usually available and when they are, they aren't good. I once ordered a banana pudding that tasted acidic and then got a"green" barbecue bologna sandwich. They even have the nerve to have "no refunds" taped to their drive-thru window! Read more
We were on our long road trip from the Gulf home to Missouri when we stumbled onto Rays looking for something to eat. Boy we... were lucky! That is some of the best BBQ I?ve ever eaten, and I?m from Kansas City!!! Our sandwiches were mouthwatering andthose are the best collard greens I?ve ever had. Good BBQ joint just off of I-40. My only real complaint would be was it had a bit more fat in the pulled pork than I would... PREFER, but not all that much overall. Coleslaw and beans are on point as well! Read more
