Have eaten here for years. This is my go-to place for oyster poboys and fried green tomatoes. Came in today for both. Can't... believe I wasted my money. The oysters were very tough and the green tomatoes were off. I asked about the tomatoes and was toldthat the cook soaks them in pickle juice. If I wanted fried dill pickles I would order them. Everything today was salted to themax. There was a strange almost chemical odor about everything, even the food. I actually heard another customer complain aboutthe fried green tomatoes. Literally the worst service I have ever experienced. Horrible food. & I recorded how the woman literally laughed at me and made... every excuse in the book and changed or manipulated everything I said when she called the ?owner? who is apparently out of thecountry. Refused to even give me a managers name or a refund for the food she messed up due to her ignorance or lack ofcomprehension. Read more
Not a very clean place. Green fungus growing in chute. Needs a waitress. Fast food sucks.
Decent food, the service was pretty crummy though. We did arrive about 45 minutes before closing but every time we interacted it... was we close and have to lock the doors. Couldn't sit but in one spot. Just a bad customer experience. The 3 stars is for thefood. Read more
I came in for a peacefully lunch and the restaurant was hotter than outside . I couldn?t eat my food without sweating . Asked... cashier to cut the air down she replied nicely and said it was turned down as low as it could be .. I can imagine the employeespain everyday coming to work in the heat .. food was great/fox air ? but the cashier did offer her little fan she uses to keepcool for us to use . Read more
Was staying in West Monroe and wanted some good catfish. Sam's didn't disappoint...the catfish, hush puppies, okra and dirty... rice was so delicious! Will definitely go there again next time I'm in Louisiana. Read more

Does not have cocktail sauce to go with the meal. This is the 3rd time in past few weeks. I spend 40 plus dollars every time I... enter the door to eat shrimp.Kitchen help seems to be a bit lazy. Will be going somewhere else in future. Read more
