Fa La La is a one man show; the owner/chef does it all! My go to is the beef basil fried rice and the honey soy glaze wings...... guaranteed to make you do a happy dance. Read more

They have a very simple menu and it is more like Thai street food with a few options to mix and match. For example, you want a... specific flavor and you can have a vegetarian, shrimp, or meat version. The Thai Basil goes really well with the coconut rice(not sweet, dessert version). The owner is very nice. Read more

I found this place maybe a year ago and he was only open a few days a week but the food was incredibly good and authentic. I?ve... gone back a few times and the consistency of the quality has remained. The owner, Isaac, grew up under the tutelage of hismother and father who owned a Thai restaurant, I understand he then branched out on his own and worked in Times Square as a chefat one of the large eateries. When Covid hit he was able to pursue his dream of operating his own restaurant full-time. The menuis straightforward and simple which is smart because he can focus on being consistent and not offering too many differentoptions. As far as prices go fa La La has the best value around. Seating is limited so plan on getting takeout. Read more

Tasty, affordable, and great customer service.I had the red sauce with tofu and even though I had nothing like it before, the... curry was flavorful and rich all for $10 plus he was giving away a free beverage with the order! Also, I?m not sure who servedme but I came pass closing and the man still decided to serve me! I would recommend. Read more

I was looking for a new Thai place and came across this place in West Orange. Tried it last night and it was fantastic. Had the... spring rolls and calamari to start. The spring rolls were okay but the calamari was exceptional. I watched them cook it, was 100percent fresh not prefab or frozen. For dinner I had the chicken basil. Again very fresh and very tasty. Good portion size andexcellent value. Plenty of parking around back. Be sure to allow enough time for the food to be prepared. I was a littleannoyed at first my food wasn?t ready when I went to pick it up but then I tasted it and realized it?s totally worth waitingfor. Give the place a try you will not be disappointed. I've been craving Thai food for a few weeks now and saw good reviews about Fa La La and decided to stop in since it's not far... from where I live. I believe it was the owner behind the counter and he was so nice as some others stated in their review. Icouldn't decide between pad Thai and fried rice so I got both and am so pleased! The shrimp in the rice are so plump and cookedjust right and the beef in the pad Thai is actually tender! I saw him cut the cucumber fresh and the sauces at the front aredelish. (The orange sesame ginger.....you can drink it...it's so good). Everything tastes fresh! I'll definitely be back hereto support this establishment. Read more

Some of the best (and definitely the least expensive!) Thai food I've had in New Jersey. The owner is super nice, making a... special steamed vegetable dish for my young daughter. Looking forward to coming back! Read more
