Get your flashlights ready. Half of the restaurant are too dark to dine. If you are lucky and have a seat that you can see it is... fine. They limit the capacity due to covid so it is likely that you might end up with a spot that you cant even read the menu orcan barely see the food. The restaurant is much darker than the pictures as modern cameras make things look brighter thanactual. Food is fine so if you like seafood I would suggest take out instead. Read more

Went here to celebrate my Birthday, I really enjoyed my seafood boil bag. Everything was smoking hot... Hotter than some of the... other restaurants that I've tried like this. The waitress was very attentive. The decor was nice... I think This Hook and Reelwill be my go to now. Read more

Good vibes at Hook & Reel! Really enjoyed the atmosphere and the service was good. I got the fried shrimp personally. I thought... the size of the shrimps were good size and had a nice crispy bite! I tried the catfish, which I thought was also very good. Theydo a really good just with the frying. Some places you go and there are burnt pieces, that's not the case here. We also got thesangria and it was pretty good too. There also a lot of parking, so that made it easy to get in and out. Price wise you won'tbreak the bank here. So delicious! First seafood boil and I am hooked. The shrimp, crawfish. And snow crab was delicious and the hook and reel spice... mix was superb on the seafood. The potatoes and corn inside the bag were not overcooked and were very tasty. The coppapistachio (pistachio Gelato with candied pistachios and chocolate syrup) was creamy and the perfect end to the meal. Mywaitress was so sweet and friendly, it was nice to chat a bit. All my other food was great as usual but?.. the paella rice I ordered should be called squid rice. As you can see no seafood... except squid not cool to call it paella and it?s clearly not! I want my money back! Read more

I can't say enough good things about the food and service here. The waitress was so personable and attentive! The Hook punch... (picture included in review) was soooo good! OMG and the Hook and Reel Signature seasoning is a mix of all the seasonings theyoffer and it was highly recommended by the waitress and did not disappoint! The pricing is appropriate and the value was good aswell. So glad to have come here after having a terrible experience at another restaurant earlier that same day. Food was great! Had it delivered, so maybe not the ideal situation or the way it was intended to be served. We ordered hush... puppies, seafood rice, a fried fish basket with sweet potato fries, and an order of scallops in garlic butter. The seafood ricewas a bit too greasy, but I guess that makes it extra yummy and I would order a different sauce with the scallops.
