What a cute, stylish haute in W.O. You can get breakfast here but i needed a few treats and found this place that offers a full... line of great desserts. The kids loved the cookie dough balls and the brownies were good too. The have gluten free options aswell. This has become a fast favorite spot for vegan food in NJ. There isn't a single dessert that I've tried so far that I haven't... thoroughly enjoyed. Most recently, I tried the ham sub with the works and it was easily the best vegan sub I've ever had. Thestaff is always super friendly and helpful. What an amazingly faithful recreation of roast beef! The portion size too was unbelievably generous! How Delish has loads of... vegan options, both savory and sweet (the strawberry shortcake was a favorite), to meet everyone's needs. The staff is equallyas wonderful as the food: we were treated with a level of grace and politeness you rarely get in restaurants today (thank youfor making our visit so memorable). So I tried this place for a Saturday lunch with some friends. This was my first time hearing about this spot, even though it?s... only about 10 minutes away. I was not disappointed at all. First it?s black owned (love love love) and it?s vegan. Location wascool, and parking was not difficult to find. It was pretty spacious inside. The ambiance and music was pretty chill and theworkers were very nice. There were two areas to dine in and also a bar area in the larger dining room. The food was very verygood. I ordered a chickpea tuna, small chili, and a cold mint ginger green tea. I was surprised how good everything was, since Iam not vegan and have my doubts about vegan food. The chili was sweeter than I?m use to but still delicious. The cornbread wasgood as well, but baby that chickpea tuna was all the way put together. It was definitely a 10/10. And I can?t forget the mintginger green tea. It was so refreshing and delish. They also let us try the mango drink which was also heavily. I willdefinitely be returning and bringing my son, who ate the rest of my chickpea tuna when I got home and could not believe how goodit was. Read more
If you like vegan food and desserts then this is the place to go. The chickpea tuna is a yummy cold sandwich, its very filling... and pairs well with the potato salad. I recently had their vegan fried chicken which tasted like actual chicken. I had the macand cheese, collard greens, and cornbread which tasted like authentic soul food. I asked for a super miracle of a last minute cheesecake browniecake & wow did she pull through!! I could never thank the How Delish HD team enough for all of the work they put in. Whether I?mordering breakfast or popping in at the last minute right before they close they?re always warm & welcoming! Do not hesitate to come and try this spot!!! This place is soo good and makes you question whether it's truly vegan. So many... dessert options and delicious deli style sandwiches. Portions are generous and actually worth the price. They have a variety ofsauces to dip your sandwiches in upon request.
