I have been coming here consistently since it opened. My favs are the Caesar salad (the dressing is amazing), Funghi Pizza and... the Scallops with Risotto. I had to update to include the beet salad (may be seasonal) was also perfection! The outdoor seatingis fantastic and they have a full bar. Service was great as always. Wonderful addition to the neighborhood. Read more

I had a fantastic experience here with my family today. We came here after a trip to Turtleback Zoo down the street, and were... pleasantly surprised by the food here. We ended up getting the Spaghetti Polpetto (meatball), the carbonara, and a child'sportion of the penne with marinara. Everything came out so well done. The noodles appear to be made in house, and were deliciousacross all plates. The meatballs were *gigantic*. Service was great and attentive and the restaurant as a whole was veryfamily-friendly. I would definitely recommend, and I look forward to coming back again to try out the seafood dishes! Read more

I don't even know where to start. I have not been to a place this hospitable in a VERY long time. Not overly personal but just... the right touch. You can taste how fresh the ingredients are immediately. The sauce, the breads, the cheeses...lastly theportions are a nice surprise. We are from Monmouth County and you just cannot find the value there that this place offers. Thankyou kindly for reminding us what a dining experience truly should be. Best wishes! Read more

I usually like a small menu but this menu didn’t have much selection from its small menu. They’re probably more known for... their seafood dishes. I wasn’t a fan of the margarita pizza, penne with red sauce or spaghetti with red sauce. In my opinion, the pizza was too thick and the crust too hard. I did, however, enjoy the mixed greens salad, calamari, and my ginger ale andthe ginger ale tasted like ginger instead of your usual Seagram’s. The calamari was delicious. Just the right balance of friedbatter and calamari that you can actually taste the calamari. I wanted to try the gelato as it was only available in 3 flavorsbut they only had vanilla bean available at the time. Therefore, I was unable to try since I wanted to order the chocolate andespresso gelato as well. Perhaps I ordered the wrong things as I’m not a local in this area, but other peoples dishes lookeddelicious and amazing. Read more

After a day at the Zoo 4:30pm we decided to go for pizza at "patsy's seafood & PIZZA HOUSE". We ordered fried calamari, chicken... Parmigiana and fish and chips. Did not order pizza because there was none . After being seated and served with our drinks, theytell us that there was no pizza at the PIZZA HOUSE... I wish we were told prior to being seated.… The calamari was prettygood, but nothing else was to our taste . I have decided to change my review from 1 start to 4 because I understand that Icannot rate a place based on 2 dishes. I appreciate the owner of the restaurant contacting me and offering a refund (which I didnot take). I appreciate his attempt to explain/excuse what I felt as unacceptable (no Pizza at the Pizza house?!!).I don’tnecessarily agreed with everything he said but I believe in his passion and how much he cares. I respect him for defending hisbusiness, his employees and the whole restaurant industry for that matter.  Just remember to inform your customer ahead of timewhen one of the two main items you sell is not available and be less passive aggressive when replying to your reviewers (even ifthey are).
