This is by far the worst restaurant experience I ever had in my life! I walked into this establishment with my family just to... grab a bite before a flight, and noticed there was no hostess at the booth to greet us and welcome us in. It literally tookabout 5-7 minutes for someone to come to us and ask if we would like to be seated? I mean, what do you think? We're just windowshopping for food? Anyway, after being seated, the waitress took another 10 minutes to come to the table to introduce herself,in which she did not even provide a name, but is was surely the same person that sat us down. So we have all decided on what wewanted to eat, and took our drink order last, which is odd because any other restaurant would want their servers to askcustomers what would we like to drink? The drinks literally came to the table 10 minutes after the order was put in, and it alsocame to us warm. So then another 15 minutes passes by, and the appetizers did not even make it to the table, let alone to disheswe ordered. So we was not very happy with the service and the whole experience was horrible! Food should not have taken thatlong because it was very slow in the restaurant, there were maybe 6-7 customers at the bar and 3 tables with customers. How cana business this slow be so slow with bringing food and drinks? I truly do not understand this! I myself work in the sameindustry and I will never ever let my customers wait so long to be seated, have servers improperly introduce themselves, and notbring out food in a timely manner! I am calling out management in this establishment to resolve this issue because it was a badexperience from beginning to end and I will never ever visit a TGIF anymore! Food is good. Service is decent. If I could rate the service independently I would give it a 2.5 star. You have to wait an extra... 20 minutes after you put down the menu until you get somebody to actually take your order. Waitresses need to work on makingsure during lunch time that people are getting their damn orders taken. I had to wait an obscenely long time to have my ordertaken. Waitresses need to remember that if they give a customer a menu, they need to go back to that customer to see if theywant to order anything! The last few times I went here for lunch the waitresses took their sweet time to get back to me and myco worker. Today the waitress had just conveniently remembered and forgot that I wanted to order something. They are lucky i amgiving the restaurant a 3 star! Read more
Being there on Friday during the day was quite pleasant. The Server we had name was Shay and she took her time with us since... she was also juggling behind the Bar. It was not even pack inside. The menu had changed but the food is still the same. They nowhave $4 cocktails ???????? all day everyday. I never had any problem with this spot. When everyone's kitchen is closed at 9pm on a Sunday headout to Fridays in West Orange. My best friend and I really wanted some... grub on a Sunday night to celebrate my belated birthday. Just don't use any cutlery. Literally all 11 of our forks and knives had food on it. Dont get the dragon salmon. They charge 21... dollars for a small sliver. They think they are some 5 star restaurant in Manhattan I guess. The manager was not in the leastbit helpful. You can see from the photo it's all rice and broccoli that youre really ordering. I had great customer service over the phone to place a takeout order but once we got home we were disappointed. I ordered shrimp... only for my pasta and the other was regular with chicken and shrimp. The portion size and flavor of the food was not worth the$23 per order. Read more
Service was absolutely terrible. Wait staff doesnt seem to care about anything which is just ridiculous. The music playing was... ghetto trash that im sure wouldnt be appropriate around children or approved by corporate. Now for the food. Im pretty sureHellen Keller could cook a better burger and potato skins than the cook they have. Ive never seen something so burnt in my life.Just over all terrible experience. Great location to meet friends. Staff is friendly. Food is good, drinks were good too. I?ve been here a lot of times and my... visit this time seems to be overall the best.
