This was my first visit to the new location of this iconic restaurant. An All glass front gives the dining area a bright and... cheerful atmosphere. There are also some outdoor tables. The wait staff were very attentive. The menu is extensive. Thequality of the food is first class as it was in the old location. Recommended for those desiring fine Italian food. Read more

I visited Stresa's for the first time and my last! The place was loud and service was horrific. The server's couldn't understand... English so that was fun. The food was average but overpriced. I ordered tiramisu to go and eat it later that same night and gotsick. The next day I called and spoke with Bill the manager. He claimed they don't try the food trying too avoid responsibility.I asked him how old and if they keep dates on the foods he ignored my question. If you're reading this review Bill you shouldconsider retiring because you have no hospitality skills whatsoever good luck.???? Read more

Had dinner last night very roomy restaurant not busy. I was told it’s a very authentic Italian restaurant. The mussels was... good but the bread was not very Italian and should have garlic toast for mussels/lemons.I got the veal saltimbocca sauce wasdelicious but need to give a vegetable and a starch. So I ordered a side of tomato sauce pasta it was so flavorless and acidictook one bite and right then knew I’d never come back!! If you can’t make a good basic tomato sauce . Very simple yet charming Italian restaurant, the service was personal and impeccable, the food was delicious especially the beet... and goat cheese salad, the grilled octopus, the eggplant and ricotta appetizer, the roasted red peppers and anchovies, and lastbut not least the apple strudel was out of this world.
