Simply the best Thai food we have tasted and experienced outside of Thailand! We were too busy enjoying the delicious food we... forgot to take any photos - it was a 5-star food experience. We were ravenous and ordered a lot: their veggie yellow curry, bbqchicken both had loads of great veggies, papaya salad used fresh green papaya, crispy tofu bites fresh and crisp, coconut ricedelicious on its own, blue pea flower tea was fresh and so healing, their butterfly sticky rice mango was an absolute delight!It’s magical for the taste buds! Found this gem by searching “best Thai near me”. The shopping center it’s located in is very unsuspecting, the interior is... well put together, clean and beautiful. Service was prompt and every item ordered was delicious. We ordered the chicken skewers,spring rolls with shrimp, crab fried rice and the avocado curry. So many flavors, fresh ingredients, SO good! Such a wonderful little place to stumble upon. We were driving home from Oregon and we were looking for some place to eat near... our hotel. I was craving noodles and thought a ramen or pho restaurant would work. Without checking the menu we settled onManaao, solely due to its proximity and high rating. I'm glad we took the chance. It's located in a small, unassuming shop in astrip mall next to a Starbucks. From the outside it didn't look like much, but the inside had a nice, modern casual decor. Thestaff members were all super friendly and helpful. I suspect our server may have been the owner, but if not they shoulddefinitely give her a raise. We started with the blanket shrimp and fried rolls. Both were excellent. I got the red duck curry.It was easily the best red curry I've ever had. Served over garlic rice, it was like heaven. My partner got the vegetarian chowmein and blue pea mango sticky rice and loved both of them as well. It's unfortunate we live so far away. If I lived in thearea I'd definitely become a regular. I'm going to recommend them to everyone I know in Sacramento. Read more
