I used to eat at the Freeport location at least 3 times a week in the early 2000s and it was great. Over the years they have... grown and it seems as if they just don't take as much pride in their food as before. I had a breakfast burrito from here lastweek and the egg had shells in it. I tried again this past Wednesday morning and guess what egg shells again. The West Sac location opened up more seating and space to enjoy dine-in eating. I ordered the Carne Asada Fries and they were as... always made fresh and mouth watering. There is also now a chips and salsa bar. I can't wait to return here soon. Read more

My family discovered Oscars maybe 3 to 5 years ago.They have one on Freeport and another one on Harbor Boulevard. Our favorite... one is on Harbor Boulevard in West Sacramento. One of the main reasons we like it so much is because the food isn't greasy. Theingredients are always fresh, there's plenty of seating available, they have TVs with sports or other shows on, lively music inthe background, and the establishment has always been clean whenever we've gone to eat there. Amazing California burritos and carne asada fries! Remember to add guacamole and sour cream though, and you will pay for it... obviously, because the faves don't come with those by default, which is a shame, because they are totally necessary - Californiaburrito with the works was $13.50. The self-serve hot sauce bar is also great, the bright red sauce is really hot, great if youlike that, and the dark red sauce is smokey, and they're both delicious. Read more
