I came here on my hour lunch, and was seated within 3 mins. The staff was extremely friendly. 1st time I came, I had the... Christie Special which consisted of 2 eggs, home fries, toast and bacon. Everything was prepared to my liking. Today I came andtried the cod fried fish and home fries. Wasn?t a fan of the meal. The home fries, weren?t like the last time I had them and thecod was processed like fish sticks. It was a good portion, but just not as enjoyable as the 1st visit. The establishment wasnice, neat, and clean. There is more than enough parking. The waitress came to check on me more than once, and was verypersonable. Regardless of this meals less than desirable review, I plan on being my wife here for future visits. Prices are veryreasonable. Read more

Stopped by here for the first time after a walk, and we loved it. The food is hot, fresh and delicious. The staff is friendly... and kind and regularly checks in to see if you need anything. It's got a very mom and pop atmosphere that makes the cold autumndays feel a little cozier. Definitely will be making the trip back out here time and time again. Read more

The food wasn?t too bad, and the service was very good! From what I?ve seen, this place seems to be catered more toward the... elderly rather than the young. I am not saying that younger people can?t eat there, I am just stating that when I went there, there was nothing but the elderly, which is not a negative at all, in my opinion. All I?m saying is, this place didn?t lookthemed for the younger crowd. And by the way, I am 55 years old if that matters, so I thought it was a very nice place. Read more

I ordered the fried bologna and onions. I wish they fried the bologna better. It was loaded with half cooked meat. Hubby had... breakfast. He said the bacon was good. The rye toast was very good. A bit under cooked for his liking on the eggs and potatoes. The bathroom was exceptionally clean. Waitress was nice. Read more

Great restaurant and the staff were so kind. It was a very busy Saturday, yet we were seated in only 10 minutes. We all enjoyed... our meals, with the "home fries with the works" being a highlight. The works included gravy, cheese, green peppers, and onions. There was sooooo much flavor!!! My gluten and nut free child had steak and eggs without any issue. As he recently lost his eggallergy, we wanted to splurge on the steak and eggs but at $12.99, it was beyond reasonable. We loved it all!! Read more

Another day of medical appointments brought us in the vicinity of Christie's Restaurant during the lunch hour today. We were... seated without hesitation, but soon every table and booth would be full, and there would be standing-room-only around thehostess station. We're "regulars" so we were able to give our orders immediately when Mary came to our table. My guy startedwith a cup of beef soup with Italian pasta, a real delight. Liver and onions doesn't appeal to me, but my dining companionorders it when it's available, and at Christie's it's always on the menu. It came with mashed potatoes and gravy, a side ofbroccoli and a pile of sautéed onions smothered the meat. He relished every bite and cheerfully joined the Clean PlateClub. I enjoyed a Roast Beef on a lightly grilled, super fresh-baked Kimmelweck roll, covered in caraway seed and crunchy salt. The beef was savory, tender and stacked high, with a side of pungent horseradish. The French fries were hot, crispy on theoutside and fluffy on the inside. Just perfect! We ordered the Diana's Chopped Salad to go, a treat to be savored withtonight's supper at home. This is our favorite salad, overflowing with chopped romaine, slivered almonds, diced red onion, crumbled blue cheese, mandarin orange segments, craisins, grilled chicken strips, with a generous portion of Riveria dressing. Two crisps of cinnamon sugared fried pita crisps top off this "dessert salad. Diners around us were ordering off the impressivebreakfast menu. Lots of happy customers here today. Read more
