I absolutely love this Federal Meat Market. They are always accommodating and extremely friendly. I placed an order for roast... beef but the man couldnt read some people's hand writing and couldnt find my order. But I still got what I needed. He was veryfriendly and Im very happy and satisfied with how it all turned out. I have been here loads of times and I get the samewonderful people each time. This place has gone down hill! Recently we went in to get a few steaks some shrimp and chicken. The chicken was awful. Seemed... freezer burnt even though they claimed it was fresh. The steaks were terrible. Very tough and tasted old. The shrimp oh mygoodness was it bad. I use to remember going here 5 years ago when we lived in the neighborhood. I went to Federal Meats today to check pricing of large pieces of beef to be cut into steaks. Not absolutely sure of which cuts... I was looking for be it Strips, Ribeye, or Delmonico I asked the butcher to show me several. Beef is not exactly cheap but Ifound the price higher than expected across the board. Wonderful place to shop. The meats are always fresh. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure you are getting exactly what... you need. The prices are a little high, but you get what you pay for. I can honestly say, that I've never had a bad cut ofmeat from this store. Read more
