My brother and I had tried to go to Collins several times before. From the street view it appears that although there's people... inside after a certain time of night they lock the doors. However it was after catching someone coming out of a back door andasking him about it he said you always use the rear entrance by the parking lot and you even have to pull the door handle in acertain way to open it giving it a speakeasy kind of vibe to it. The interior is decked out with all the classic New Englandsports memorabilia, plenty of seating a level pool table and most importantly the drinks were beyond reasonably priced. I thinkwe got there around 10:00 or so got instant bar service played a couple of games of pool, and by the time we were leaving aftera couple of beers each our tab was like 8 bucks! Cannot say enough about this place! I have gone twice now and both times were awesome. Highly recommend if in the area! Food is... surprisingly really good. Drinks are tasty and strong. Bartenders are amazing! Cash only! Read more

Always looking for great dive bars on our adventures. Collins was a perfect stop for us. Unfortunately the kitchen was closed,... but they let us order a pizza and had it delivered. Great atmosphere, good cold beer and friendly people. We will have to waituntil our next time to judge the food. Lol Read more
