From start to finish, it was a bad dining experience, mostly due to poor service from our waitress S.L. Food was good, service... not so good. 1. The table we sat at was dirty (Coffee spills, hot sauce and egg on the table), the floor below was also dirty.My husband asked the waitress if we could get something to wipe the table, she handed us a washcloth and we wiped itourselves. 2. The Dinner I ordered, comes with two sides, I was never asked what I wanted with it. She never offered any saucesfor my hubbys fries. She never asked if he wanted a refill. 3. The food came after like a 30 minute wait. I asked the waitresswhere the soup was that came with it, she said ?Oh, sorry we just ran out. We have salad?? ?I said sure I?ll have that.? Sheconfirmed she was bringing it and asked if I wanted ranch, I said yes. My husband also asked for a drink refill. We had to askfor sauce for his fries. 4. She came back to our table, a few minutes later and said, sorry that?s the wrong plate, did youtouch it? I said I put black pepper on it. She grabbed it and gave to the correct customer. Smh! 5. She never brought the damnsalad or the soda refill at all. Just kept walking past our table. I looked across from us, another couple never got anybeverage at all and had been waiting at least 15 mins. 6. After getting fed up waiting another 15 mins for a damn refill andthe salad. I took matters into my own hands, got up, the waitress said bye, and I said, ?What do you mean bye? We never got ourcheck yet and I?m getting a refill that we have been waiting on!? I walked a few steps around the corner and asked the otheremployee for a refill. This literally took me less than one minute. 7. I asked her for the check and told her that she betterremove the salad that we never got. 8. Sadly, with that poor quality of service, we did not tip her at all. I ordered my free breakfast for joining their club. My first round of biscuits you see in the picture were to hard to eat. But... the replacement biscuits and gravy with the rest of my breakfast was very good. Read more

This restaurant is very good. The food was tasty and very well priced. The service was good and fast. The menu had many options... to choose from. They serve breakfast through dinner and must certainly have something on the menu for anyone. I enjoyed the potroast with corn and veggies. Read more

Food is great!!!!! I always love coming to black bear you will never leave hungry that?s for sure. Right now as so many... restaurants are short staffed it can be hard to get the service that you expect when going out. This review is not the case, ourserver was Tracey and she made you feel welcome, she made sure you had everything you needed. So thoughtful and willing to makesure your visit and experience at black bear is memorable. She deserves this recognition and I hope management sees this andtakes action. Read more
