Excellent, I highly recommend this barbecue establishment. I am a Texan and I know barbecue and this is great barbecue. Let's... begin with the parking lot, there is plenty of parking as it is in a shopping Center parking lot and it is well lit and veryclean. The front of the store also very clean. Inside of the store Ultra Clean, please see the photos. There is a large postedmenu like a chalkboard that is easy to read. You stand in a cafeteria style line to order and at the register it is given to youand you pay with cash or credit or debit cards. If you are paying with cards it has a nice tap your card feature. The employeeswere Ultra nice and they welcome you to the restaurant. There is plenty of table seating. The walls are decorated with themedpictures. In the ceiling there are wagon wheels that operate as lighting fixtures and it adds to the barbecue atmosphere. Placeyour tray of food on the table that you choose and then walk over to the beverage machine where they have Coke and Dr Pepper andother self serve drinks. Next to the drink machine are three cattles of different types of barbecue sauce I tried all three andthey were delicious. Next to that is a napkin station also you can get your forks and spoons and accessories there and next tothat is an ice cream machine self-serve. There are men and women restrooms and they were Ultra Clean. That about wraps it up. Itook plenty of pictures that outlines everything I wrote about above. Salt Lake City has a homeless population problem and it'snot this establishments fault that the homeless walk through the parking lot. Based solely on that I would recommend that youalways lock the door of your car and make sure if you have anything in the car to cover it up. This is everywhere in the greaterarea of downtown Salt Lake City and again it's not this business's fault. Housing crisis has created a huge homelessnessproblem. This was my first time eating at Dickey's and it will for sure be the last. I don't know if the food is always this terrible or... if it's just this location but dear God it was disgusting. The bun for my sandwich was so stale it was actually crunchy, thebrisket was all fat with no flavor, the only edible thing was the Mac and cheese. The customer service was definitely lacking aswell. I will be going to better BBQ restaurants like Famous Dave's from now on. Read more

I came in got a meal, food some what tasted okay the meat on the sandwich was extremely dry, but the quantity of fries in their... "side" of fries.. you mind as well just call it a snack size or extra small side cause it has no fries at all in it. Honestly Ialmost would have preferred McDonald's over this "food".. It was not at all worth the over 16$ I paid. Had I not done take outand drove all the way home I would go back and request a refund. Read more

Not sure what has been happening with this place, I've been here in the area for 5 yrs and always love their food, that is the... only reason I give them 2 stars, but it has not been enjoyable to dine in the place has been going down the drain even beforethe pandemic, the place is getting really dirty everywhere, from the entrance to the bathrooms,and.i don't want to think a boutthe kitchen just because I really like the food. The was are reallydirty, the soda machine is nasty the bathrooms are dirty and old and to top it all the warmer for the BBQ sauces is notoperational, they do have awesome customer service and good food but they need to step up. I do feel the food is a bit pricey for the amount you get. That being said, the food is delicious! So far we've only eaten... brisket and its delicious, ohh and the Mac and cheese is to die for, and let's not forget the roll. If you want BBQ, this is agreat place to go. Read more
