Met up with the ladies for some DELICIOUS Thai food in West Valley @tuktuks.slc. From the moment you walk in the whole place... smells incredible. The food is bright with amazing Thai flavors. We ordered lots and all shared. Ohhhhh my, e v e r y t h i n gwas so good. Like so good. Here's what we ate- Drunken Noodles with Chicken Pad Ga Prow with Beef Tempura Veggies VeggieSpring Rolls Chicken Skewers Mango with Ube Sticky Rice LOVED the wide noodles and tender chicken in the Dubken Noodles. Thesauce in the Pad Ga Prow was incredible. You could drink it like a soup, as my friend would say! Have you ever seen a biggerplate of Veggie Tempura?! Perfect to share. The peanut sauce with the Veggie rolls had a nice kick, and the lettuce was socrisp. The Mango Ube Sticky rice blew my mind. It was so warm and comforting but fresh with the Mango. Best Thai food in the state, authentic, well placed flavors unlike anything you'll find, worth the drive, a foodies delight... ????. Ordered the Spring Rolls (not pictured), Fried Rice, and Pad See Eww. The peanut sauce for the spring rolls was one of the best... ones I've ever had. Very flavorful with a hint of spiciness. The rice and pad were really good and extremely flavorful.Spiciness at level 2 was more than I personally could handle. The level 1 was not extremely spicy, but it's definitely got akick. High quality food, but I might be too cheap to eat here often. $15 for a yellow curry is more than I like to spend on a curry,... and the credit card reader held by the waiter which has preset tip percentages down to 18% minimum rubs my little meiser soulthe wrong way. But the curry was good! Warm spices and a subtle sweetness were matched with an assertive but not annoying heat. I'm generally not a spicy food guy, so just the base level of heat was good for me. Chicken was cut thin and plentiful and thepotatoes and carrots were stewed until soft for just the right textural compliment to the long grain rice. Overall, an excellentcurry. For those who dislike any mouth burn though, there isn't any way to get the spice down to zero, but what is there is aquick heat that only burns where it touches, making it pretty easy to enjoy. All pictured here, we got it to go and the food was AWESOME! Spice levels were a bit higher than wethought on the 1-5 spice scale. Flavorful food, more meat than other places- we actually like less meat more veggies. Noodleswere good, but our favorite was the curry? it was was super flavorful! Veggies texture show it was well simmered in thatluscious curry sauce- fork tender carrots and potatoes with crisp onions. This is the kind of curry sauce that you can orderwith a bowl of rice and be happy to pay the same price for just the sauce alone- yes, it?s that good on rice:) And don?t leavehere without the mango sticky rice- get the purple rice, it?s legit delicious dessert.
