The deep fried California and spicy tuna rolls were delicious. Just enough of a crunch but not too much batter. We ordered... takeout and picnic at John Lawson park which is 3 min walk away. Recommended! Read more
Dynamite roll was so overcooked it wasn't edible - shrimp had shrunk up like a shriveled worm, and had the texture of hard... rubber. No idea how it was served like that but when it was pointed out told that 'its too bad i didn't enjoy it' haha. Thisplace has gone downhill recently. Read more

We got a table pretty quickly over the phone. Got there and the table was ready and our server was super friendly and... pleasant. The appetizers and food came quickly and in the right order. The food was delicious and the prices were veryreasonable! We also got a free appetizer (that we had ordered) on the house because we order over a certain value! Overallgreat experience, highly recommended and definitely coming back when I'm in West Van. Read more
used to always go to this restaurant and it was good. Now the food leaves much to be desired :( The fish is not fresh, I didn?t... even bother to feed the children. The waiter refused to replace the dish that was obviously spoiled and smelled strange. Decidednot to go there anymore. There are many good restaurants nearby with more interesting menus! Good luck! If you really want to try this place....go and dine in....maybe then they'll practice some standard in serving you and their... presentation. So, regretfully we decided to pick up some Sushi on our way to a potluck dinner party. I ordered the DeluxeSashimi Platter and the Dynamite Sushi Combo over the phone, and they made sure to let me know that they would be charging meextra for extra ginger on an order that was already overpriced and under-delivered. Ok...here's the deal: In any part of theworld where living beings have two ears, one mouth, two eyeballs, five fingers, walk upright and tend not eat their first bornif it's a cold winter....tend to think of a party platter as....well....a platter for a party...you with me so far?....ok. Well,it was to my surprise that this party platter that we ordered was so tastefully put together in a styrofoambox....YES....Styrofoam. I was relieved that I picked something from the "Chef's choice" section...I mean if it had been let'ssay from the "Janitor's section"....I probably would've been handed each sashimi in the palm of my hand....(no offence tojanitors....they make the world a much cleaner place!). So yeah.....the octopus in the sushi combo was very chewy and theDynamite roll....I've had better Dynamite Rolls at airport lunch counters.....
