We've been coming here for years, and after sometime away, coming back for some food and drinks with some friends it was a... significant disappointment. I'll tell you why. Have you ever been somewhere to eat and you felt that your server had betterthings to do? Like prepare for an exam or go meet her friends? That was our first impression of our server when we sat down andunfortunately it lasted the whole evening. The attention, effort and energy she gave to our table the entire time was as if shewanted us to finish, pay and leave and we had just gotten there. When she did come around she never cleared the dirty sideplates from our appetizers, and dirty dishes sat there throughout our mains when we finally asked the bus boy to clearthem. Anyhow....moving on....so that's for service. Now for the food....keep reading. Overpriced hot wings that used to comewith dip and celery...you know....they're hot wings...now they charge you for celery and dip....yeah I'm serious. Hot wingstasted frozen and old. The Korean cauliflower tasted good but it was swimming in sauce. The truffle fries were more likeregular fries, limp and lacking freshness, as well as the yam fries were not seasoned at all. No salt nothing. Bland. We alsoordered the Bacon Cheeseburger which was very average, but what was odd with that order was that there were fries missing in thecontainer it came with (see pic). Like someone had helped themselves with a couple of them before the dish arrived at our table.It was not topped off. We had a tequila shot and it tasted like water when we told our server she told us to pick a brand weliked, so we went with Patron. Once those arrived, even though they were the same order....one of them was poured less than theother by at least 1/2 a shot. Yeah...not good. We were going to let our server know, but she came around only when she hadnothing better to do. We used to love this place but this might just be enough for us not to return. What a shame. Read more
Lovely outdoor setting , open late night . The kind of place you want to hangout with friends . The food was good with... vegetarian options. Not a fan of kale but their fresh ingredient kale and mushroom pizza was nice. Also their Korean cauliflowerfor appetizer. Read more
Extraordinary pizza and the bacon,cheese burger with yam fries were fantastic!! We also had a mango margarita and a guava... margarita!! Love the menu and service !! Read more
Really enjoyed the ambiance and food, the service was polite and friendly but a bit on the slow side for a Sunday afternoon when... I was here. Restaurant wasn’t packed or anything either to explain it, they took quite a lot of time to get the food afterordering (25 mins roughly). That said it was worth the wait so I will definitely be back, hoping it was just an off day (we allhave those so I hope you take my review in context, full transparency). Read more
Time for me to give up on ordering the potato skins. Was looking forward to getting home and diving in only for them to be... inedible. This has happened to me 3 out of the last 4 orders, partially on me for being hopeful for a good batch. Stick totheir pizzas as they've never failed there. Read more
A nice, casual spot to hang out at. I tried their sour beer, definitely a good suggestion by our server. For food we got their... lettuces chicken wraps - really tasty, and their mac n cheese - interesting touch of crunchy onions. All in all a pretty goodexperience. Slightly on the expensive side. The patio is very convenient and has a roof so the tables are protected from the elements. The service was very attentive and... prompt and the food did not take long to arrive. Server was very helpful making recommendations. Their pizzas are very well madeand the ribs were "fall off the bones" (please see photos). They have a good selection of beers on tap and were quick to bringover some samples since I was not familiar with the local beers. All in all, a very pleasant dining experience. Read more
The village Taphouse is a nice place to dine at if you’re at Park Royal and you wanna grab a burger and beer. It’s more like... a pub with burger and pizza menus and beer on tap. We usually try their crispy sandwich and burgers. I shod admit that theirburgers are much better than their crispy chickens. Read more
