The food was a little more expensive than some of the other breakfast and lunch places in the area like Gel's. Tried the combo... breakfast and two eggs any style, the eggs had an odd flavor we couldn't figure out and the pancakes were chewy and very dense.Bacon, sausages, and home fries were good though. This place is legit?. The staff is genuinely nice, friendly and authentic, definitely nothing pretentious here. The food came... out quickly, portion size was perfect and boy was it delicious. When we got there Harmony sat us down and got the menus. Very very very nice girl. The restaurant itself is very clean and... organized. The food comes in huge portions and it is delicious. We got the combos and they were so cheap compared to otherbreakfast places. I believe the combo was $9 and if you look at the pictures you?ll see how huge it was. One combo will fill uptwo people. This location is CASH ONLY, which we didn?t see mentioned online (maybe overlooked). But they have an ATM that has a$1.75 fee on it, so not bad at all. I have been a regular customer for the last three years. The food is served fast and the staff is friendly and attentive.... However over the last couple of months I have a noticed a difference in my favorite things?the home fries and scrambled eggs.The portions have been noticeably cut. The taste and consistency of the home fries has declined. This is evident in thebreakfast combo. I get it?inflation is affecting us all. I?d rather pay a little more and keep the portions and consistency theway it was. What has happened to the flavor of the home fries? I never needed to add any salt or pepper. Now I feel there is noflavor. They used to be crispier and tasted better. The last three visits over the last couple months have been noticeably notas good. Please go back to the way it was. It?s worth the extra cost. If I want less taste and consistency I could go to anylocal diner. AJ?s was always better. Read more
