I’d read it is the best chowder, and I’d have to agree. Had it one night in the bread bowl - delicious! Another night had a... bowl before my fish and chips - lots of food … all so good. Took two quarts of chowder home! Will be back next September! ???? Read more
10/10. First time trying was too packed wasn't thinking of trying again. Definitely glad I did. Worth the wait for sure. Got an... outside dining. Portions were big. Food was AMAZING. The best chowder on the Cape, bar none and I've tried many over the past 27 years of visiting the Cape. This time I ordered... scallop stuffed potato skins. Wow!! So amazing. Loaded with tender, fresh scallops. Very unique. It should be added to theirregular menu. I have recommended this place to many friends and they've all loved it. Read more
When it’s good, it’s fantastic! This was the best fish n chips I’ve ever had in New England - I would drive for four hours... just to have it. The chowder is also a must-have. The appetizer of littleneck clams ( served with a silly gravy and butter“dip”) are gross and not well-thought out, yet expensive. The kids menu leaves much to be desired. The restaurant has such character and charm. The staff was friendly and warm...also they paid attention to our requests making... our experience there truly memorable. The entrees were very delicious and served promptly. A visit here is a must on anyone tripto the Cape. Read more
Great menu, friendly service and really good food. The meatloaf was excellent and the grilled Reuben was one of the best I’ve... ever tasted. The scallops with bacon were good but needed a sauce. I didn’t photograph my food because I was too hungry andit looked too good.???? Also, the portions are huge! Read more
One of the best clam chowders I've had!! Also loved the fish and chips with coconut crusted fish, delicious ???? I also tried... their own Captain Parker's Ale and thought it was excellent, if you like Sam's Brick Red, it reminded me of that. CHEERS???? Lastly, the service was great. Marvelous dinner! We had some really good Clam Chowder. It's award winning but most of the restaurants claim awards too. Frankly... this was some of the best we ever had. It was really flavorful and had tons of clams in it. We shared a fried platter of wholebelly clams and scallops. Both were fried to perfection: hot and crispy. The seafood was incredibly fresh and tasted marvelous.The fries, home made from fresh potatoes unfortunately weren't quite as hot as we liked, they were under the fried seafood andalthough crisp and tasty that was a bit of a disappointment.
