Went a around 5pm on a Tuesday, wasn't busy when I arrived, but within 30 minutes or so the place was definitely picking up... steam. Perks of being surrounded by hotels. ???? Tuesday special was fantastic! Had soup (empty cup as you can see)& prime ribfor 16.95!!! Other options were also available on the special list. Everything was cooked to my liking. Bartender was very niceand patient with me as I took awhile to decide what to have and answered all my questions. I'm in town for 3 weeks, I'm sureI'll be back. Oh..! They do a Sunday brunch too!!!! Owen O'Leary's is always my first and favorite spot when I travel to the area! Great food and drinks with something for... everyone!!! The specials are incredible. Last night I had the special that included a bowl of chowder, steamers, and a lobsterfor less than what I would have paid for the lobster back home. The staff is always attentive and very polite. The Wedge Salad was huge and very good. The Nacho Chips and Salsa was good. The poutine was excellent.
Love this place! Menu decent, friendly staff and the BEST Irish Red Ale made on-site. Stop in.....u won't be disappointed. Oh... and they have KENO and tons on TV's to watch the game(s). Read more
If I was just rating the pizza, I?d give the rating 3 stars. But the restaurant was nice, the staff was nice, and others seemed... to enjoy their meal. My son would not eat his kids chicken tender because of the type of breading, I guess similar to beerbreaded? Anyway - I don?t have any plans to go back. Read more
If your looking to have fun with your friends and have a few drinks Owen O'Leary's is a great place to go. Their in house beers... are fantastic and the food is delicious. They have lots of food specials like $2 pizza every night after 8:30. Their bartenderJoe is phenomenal! He provides too notch, friendly service and he'll joke with you all night.
