The environment is always very warm and welcoming! We had dinner last night during one of their music events and it was a packed... house. The staff managed a full house very well! This place has something for everyone including the classic items that havebeen on their menu since the start. It?s nice not to have to go into Portland for a top notch meal. The Frog and Turtle is a beautiful two floor restaurant right on the Presumpscot river. It overlooks Westbrook and has... delightful patio seating on the second floor. The down stairs is a modern tavern style dining room with a large open bar. Theupstairs is open breezy and remodeled. The menu was great from home made donuts to home made eggs Benedict. The drinks are madefresh and delicious by the very cheerful bar staff. The servers were on a top level of service from personal conversations tofriendly smiles these servers will put a smile on your face on your worst day ????. We had the delightful and energetic Alex asour server and she was AMAZING! She was fast, personable, respectful, and most of all a great overall server! Very clean place. Nice atmosphere and beautifully built interior. As the menu says, all items are made to order, from scratch,... so there will be a wait time. Order more drinks. They were short staffed this day and wait times were definitely extended. Theyounger wait staff maintained a positive attitude and were quite professional, however we did feel a bit ignored and as if weweren't as important as other patrons. To say Sunday morning brunch was delicious, would be an understatement!!! Recommend making reservations. Drinks were tasty and... the staff were all so kind and pleasant!!
